Would be a pity to lose the chat box, with the forum going feels like a lot of the community aspect would go if chat box wasn’t there aswell. I know a lot of people don’t care about the chat box but I find it fun to talk to your fellow players and a few have said the same to me! I know I’ve already brought this up but if you can do your best to get it in at least the sky exclusive games!
Will player notes and labels be transferred across? I have accumulated them for over 14 years now, so would be a shame to lose them. Just a thought, I reckon you can request a csv file of your player notes from Sky James and he would happily supply them.
Thanks @mumsie , is this something you can do @SkyJames ? If everyone has -sky at the end, then a csv may help, although I'm probably not techie enough to know what to do with it, but I can give it a go.
I don't know enough about the transition details to reply to much, but as to this point, @Sky__James replied earlier in the thread thusly...
"To avoid the issue of duplicates the plan is to have '-sky' at the end of your alias. The only other option is to allow everyone to pick a new alias but I want to keep the continuity and I think players would prefer to be able to recognise each other still."

I don't have access to player notes or know if they are stored anywhere by us so I don't think it's possible to download them sorry.
Responsibilities for players accounts, including deposits & withdrawals, will remain with Sky Poker, so I would expect withdrawal speed to be unchanged from now.
I think this will mean the end for Sky & I - having a Grosvenor account on iPoker which (with the regular satellites to live Grosvenor games), I can't see a compelling reason to switch to a Sky iPoker skin.
It took me a while, but I've really grown to love the unique Sky Poker offering.
In an ideal world, I was hoping that Pokerstars would merge Sky with the old PKR software, as they are both more community driven poker experiences than anything else on offer.
Unibet seems like a more natural fit for Sky, but I guess this deal is all done and dusted.

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Important point.
Nothing to stop Sky players entering those qualifiers, and (presumably) British Grosvenor players could enter Sky/SPT ones. Would need agreement.
What we don't (yet) know is whether Grosvenor/Sky will collaborate or not.

One thing I that I believe is unique to Sky is that player notes seem to be available if you play on your phone, tablet or laptop. I can't imagine I've ever taken player notes on my phone, but they are there when I use the app. For other software, the notes are stored on the device you made the note on only.
I have to say this is sad news and the end of Sky as we know it, but I understand the reasons. I doubt the current Sky software can detect anything more than the most basic forms of cheating and collusion, albeit iPoker's record is bad on that front. I'll miss the chat box, which was fun for some light hearted needling, football chat, and so on. You don't get that anywhere else anymore, which I believe helped Sky retain some loyalty.
Thanks to Tikay for a superb job keeping the forum going and being a great ambassador for Sky. If people still like this kind of forum rather than Discord, I can recommend a forum that is still open that could desperately do with some traffic.
I am on course to get radiotheraphy for my prostate cancer in May, so you can do whatever you like on Sky Poker . Seriously 1/8 guys over the age of 55 get prostate cancer so get it checked out with a PSA at your GP for free. I'm 'all in' in May, but i am quite happy that the quacks found my cancer before it reached my bones or other organs. (as what has happened to Chris Hoy!). GL with the new venture and keep the cheap games
Very best of luck with that @SCOTFOX - early detection is so important. My wife is recovering from early detected breast cancer and has been given the all clear after 2 surgeries and radiotherapy. It could have been much worse if she hadn't got it checked out ASAP. Any doubt, check it out. GL mate.

Or will you adopt the 50/50 split as is standard across the iPoker network (and other sites)?
