She didn't come to the main event, just the 1st leg of the tour which was also DTD, I think she spent the whole time talking to OXBOWLERS other half (Who i knocked out to be the 1st player out that day, OOPS)

Absolutely not - it's Online Qualification only.

However, FIVE Seats have been allocated to the Casino for them to hold a Super-Sat on a day of their choosing. For details, I suggest you contact the Casino direct - Sky Poker have no input or involvement in what date that will take place.

Manchester City Centre has an excellent Shopping Centre, including an Arndale Centre. (Which I helped build back in the 70's).

Also, the Lowry Museum is worth a visit, as is Manchester Piccadilly Station, or the Granada Corrie Studio Tour.

Not sure if thats a serious answer or not ;-)

The shopping centre sounds the most likely option, She is only turing 21 next week and not into culture etc.. bit of a boring horse freak tbh...

Riding and working with them (eventing)

About 8 hours a day in total, both with her own and at work... Cant think of anything worse than shovelling you know what all day!!

Then again i play golf and that must seem boring to her

just a thought ,wouldnt it be more easier 2 pay entry 2 final dtd, than pay 100 and try and qualify ,myself personally these qualifiers r out of my price range + the final ,i have coaxed a couple of m8s too try and play next year ,as i we all did enjoy swansea last year, they came with me for support .........they have sort of bn learning the game ,and have bn interested in playing next year ,but when i tell them its 100 bucks to play i know now i can forget it ,i will try and qualify myself ,and i will come along e ven if i dont ,but i hope i do ,it was a unforgetable experiance

I will more than likely do the same, if i qualify or not go down and watch catch up with a few of the lads that did qualify, will be a good day

Hi Guys, don't get me wrong i love SKY but i want to have a little moan!
Played in the semi last night (4 nights in a row, i am trying!!) and we got down to the last 7. 5 seats and £44 for 6th.
    No hand for hand play.
I played on the short handed table, (3 vs 4) for over 20 mins with reaonably high blinds. My moan is that this isn't a level playing field and thats the one thing you expect. I have played on many other sites and hand for hand play exists. I'm sure SPT can confirm there will be hand for hand play at the live events? The SKY technical/development team need to sort this out. There is no doubt in my mind that this cost me a place in Manc as there were 2 very short stacks on the 4 handed table and for them the additional blinds would likely have been terminal. I finished 6th and it sounds like sour grapes, but i really want SKY to be better, as this is my favourite place to play!!
I will keep on trying to win a seat.

    Hi Skicowboys,

Thank you for your suggestion in allwoing "hand for hand" play when approaching the bubble in online MTT's which is a good idea. It is already in our plans for future development, although I couldn't give you an accurate potential release date.

I'm sorry to hear about you just missing out on the SPT Seat last night but wish you the best of luck in any future attempts to win your seat to Manchester

    Regards

    Adam

    Yes, I can confirm that!

Details await exact numbers & how many places paid, but it's probable that it will be H-4-H on the Money Bubble, & the Final Table Bubble.

What's the blind structure for the MANC leg? I've already read somewhere or other its 30 min blinds, and I know that the starting stack is 5k, but what are the levels?
    25-50, 50-100, 100-200, 200-400etc, or something a little les steep?

    Thank youns.

5,000 and 30 minutes is correct

Levels need to be finalised, and I will advise as and when I can confirm

    Les Steep? Who's he?

I did, of course, mean less.

Only a guess, but I would think that the moment Leg One has taken place, the Super Sats for Leg Two will begin. They may even begin once all the Seats for Leg One have gone.

Either way, the date will be well-publicised on the Forum & Show.

Is there any chance the winnings could be given out at the casino instead of waiting for it to deposited on sky...... after all the buyins have already been outlayed and who heard of a tournament at a casino where they dont pay when the tourney has ended   ????
