you can do this Don don't let one bad session get you down if you looked at your roll on a graph it'll be an upward trend m8 yes you'll get drops but you need to view it over time
Played 2 sessions today. Much of the same however it did start to look up a little, well for one hand. Anyways

Little confidence booster as that session went on, however want to get an early night due to a football match being on tomorrow. Didnt feel i played well today, and struggling with emotions didnt help either. Appoligies to some people whove put up with alot of c*** off me today and last night.
Hey don, i dont come on here much as i play on anuva site, i used to play when u started this diary and im abit surprised ur still at it.
i havent read all of the thread but just a tip, on ur first winning hand, u raise pre flop, then u miss the flop, oppo checks to u,....why not make a standard c-bet? although u have nothing, u hav to assume u have a better nothing than him..also i'd be interested in knowing if u fold from abet from him on flop?
Also as for the q4, u make a silly mistake i used to make alot, u get to see a flop for free, then u catch a piece of it, and try to win. with a hand like q4 against multiple oppo i would just fold the flop(unless u hit it really hard) as its rarely a winning hand good luck tho mate
Q4 - betting turn is ok, after minraise why the **** are you minraising back again !? Then calling off £3.54 on pair and flush draw with one card to come, not good mate.
Was drinking early as i tend to on old firm weekends, got a small session in before the game and made profit. Upon comming back i was tired, drunk, over the moon etc. Anyways i decided id do a dym then buy into the primo semi as a treat if i cashed while not hurting my BR too much. Anyways i cashed in the £5.50 dym, but at 4.30ish i decided i was too tired and de-reged from the sat hitting my bed.

In Response to Re: taking on NL4 diary : Appaulling stamina imo. 6 hours boozing behind you, late Sunday afternoon, perfect grind conditions. even I would have played some hands in that situation! Lightweight. Posted by DOHHHHHHH
not been on much after losing 3 buy ins at NL10 but won a cpl of £5 DYMs and a TYM and about 1 buy in tonight so then decided to go back to NL4 for an hour as there was more eaction and won 3 buy ins within an hour - just bad play by others really
BR stands at the same as last time but i,ve withdrawn some and will be playing more of a variety of games
I,ll send u a Pm tommorow Don as need to ask you about that site as they don,t seem to respond
In Response to Re: taking on NL4 diary : wow theres a sight for sore eyes. im on most of the time mate, JJ always shows as offline :S Posted by The_Don90
well i decided to play nl 4 on weds thurs for 4hrs and friday for 6 hrs (4 tabling) and its brutal lol . 8 bis up on first day 4 bis up on thurs and at 1 point 5 bis down on friday, dragged it back to only 2 down. found 2 players over that time that were "tricky". just having to wade through hero calls, all in bluffs pre and people thinking bottom pair is good!. how you did this for so long dude is beyond me. if dons head is fried i can see why. experiment over on sunday thank the lord!

+1 dont think it is healthy being a grinder at that level, just using it as a tool to learn and just that. but i have had this argument before and was brutally gang raped....

Well from looking back at my Excel spreadsheet it took me around 20k hands to beat (i.e progress up to NL8) but that was 15/5 - 31/5, 1/6 - 19/6 and 1/7 - 20/7, had breaks at end of June and July as I'd reached 1000 points and wanted a wee break.
With respect to Don he was and is doing very well, currently on £102. I think he would have got very close to £160 had he plowed on and if he lost money who cares, what else he ganna do, just work back up cus he's done it once before.
Again though I find it funny all this stuff about the level being hard to play, you've just proved it's a piece of P with your little brag so why would you switch from that to playing GOOD players who are hard to get value from/can bluff you etc, if someone can explain this to me without saying 'It's more fun' then I would love to hear it. ;-)
i agree with you dude (well spotted by the way lol). the only thing i would say is i feel my "a" game slipping away from me. yes it is a money making machine on the whole and if you have no ambtion to improve your game then yes stay here and make da moniez, but you know as well as i do your not having to use your brain here ie "what are they putting me on" "can i represent this and that". 3 bet 4 bet bluffing etc. all these tools you WILL need to advance up. so as much as i have enjoyed this little jolly (still 2days to go) i feel my for my sanity.
