He's got enough cash now to buy in direct! but seriously VERY well done to him.

What is the format of the "chip handicap" eg i'm currently 30th for STT points and Jinglema is 1st, what will our chipstacks be?

    Hi mate!

& is Vegas a yearly donkament too??

In any competitive enviroment, Business, Football, Poker, the cream will rise to the top, That is the law of the Jungle!!

The Vegas & TSP tourneys,[NOT Donkaments], Have always had the cream reach the final stages, they may have some under-rated players make it or get close!!

BUT IS THAT NOT THE DREAM!!!!!!

We were all under-rated players once, some improve fast, some slow, some dont.......BUT dont tell me it is not the dream of EVERY player on here, to win a big live tourney like GUKPT/SPT or Final table WSOP, just some are ALOT further away than others!!

The beauty of The FA Cup is Crawley drawing Man Utd, Europa league, Lil' Fulham getting to a final......
AND was not the Poker BOOM started[apparently], when 'hobby' player Moneymaker won the WSOP!!

Everyone who wants to pay the entry should get the chance!!

Fact is seems some do not take advantage of their TSP oppurtunity, SOME DO!!

THAT IS A LIFE FACT, NOT POKER!

A hungrier 'lesser' player may make more of it than a talented star!!

who would have thought 6 years ago that Scotty Parker would be more in demand than David Bently!!

    GL!!

    [Football Analogies FTW!!!]

Ty for your kind comments :)

I believe (99% sure) that 30th gets 4K starting stack and 1st place gets 10K

I will try and find the link now

I've been watching this thread since it started now but haven't posted yet... I agree with some statements and disagree with others but I think the above sums up people's opinions...

I said, give him a place on TSP, I didn't mention anything about a £1000 buy-in event and the reply was, well he can buy-in himself now. Surely there should be more to TSP than 1 buy-in, even if it's bragging rights. I'm by no means having a go at Poker_Fail but this seems to be the general concensus among the community... Would no-one even be the slightest bit proud to be in it? Not that I'm of a high enough standard but I'd love to Don the TSP hoody and get out there playing some poker, could wear it down to the casino in Liverpool (bit of free advertising)

    +1

But not just coz of last night, coz he's good enough to get a blue hoody on the final table.

He cudda bust first in both tournys last night, and he'd still have got a +1.

    ----------------------

As would alot of lesser known players.......

Ozzie08 is prob the most under-rated player in the world, give him a shot. He rakes enough.

Greghogg also. Give him a go, he'd improve the standard of the team as it is atm.

F ivanovich has to be one of the most talented on the site, he never gets a mention.

Peg1, the guy is a phenom! The 5/10 only runs when he's there, yet he walks away the big winner everytime! I love this man!!!

    Corbett/glifulose/Mschips (altho she's disappeared)/rentisdue/oldrectory/supersnedd

Hand pick some players off the site who could potentially go to a big event and smash it.

i agree toa point jj, but and its a big but, is where the players come from ie cah sngs . i might be wrong but we have had some top cash players on here , sparce springs to mind, pretty much untouchable on the cash tables, but didnt convert his game over to mtt. surley seasoned mtt players will still outdo a top cash player in there own format.

Oh totally missed TOMMYD btw, who imo 1 day will be better than any other player on the site, in terms of an all round poker player.

Prob be embarrassed a 30nl player saying that about him, but 1 day I'll be proved right ;) lol.

    Give him a blue jumper!!!!!

not many can cross over at the top ,but he does. if you scored people out of 100 in mtt disapline and 100 outta cash and add them together he i think would be at my top.

    +1 to this as well.

    flexibility and common sense ftw.

Stake sparce for a big cash game. UK cash game? whatever....

The more options the better. Thats what will make the whole thing more appealling to a wider client base.

Offering a prize that appeals to 10% (optimistic estimate) of the clients is rubbish.

Just to clarify, what I said was just a little joke. He deserves all the prizes he gets.

I did say but I didn't mean it in any way as an attack on you, I just thought it was funny that when I mention joining TSP the first/only thing you/people think of is £1000 buy-in. Sure it's a big deal, but It'd mean alot more than that to me.
