Yeah, I'm basically gonna try and do what you did now and build up the £3.30 to a level where I can never realistically go broke, doing the 22 BI idea JC mentioned in his blog for £5.50 just doesn't work for me lol
yeh, u just can,t have a bad session with only 22 buy-ins,can u. deffo think u can make money in long run though. just got fed up losing those flippin flips...lol
now back on nl4 as u know, and really enjoying playing cash again, especially as i am now showing a small profit, 4 the first time really.
never know give it another week.... probably be back with you...lol
]pluss, got to think the higher the level. on dym, gueesing it may simply come down 2 a flip more often.
Didn't play much today, hopefully more time tomorrow Played a couple of games at £2.25 and £3.30, which actually pushed me into profit for today. Will hopefully get over the 1k C4P mark tomorrow or Friday, then hoping to end up with around 1,200 or 1,250 C4P at the end of the month.
Forgot to post in here yesterday, hardly played, £1.50 down. Will be playing more tonight Posted by EvilPingu
Well, was going to, spent ages talking to customer care instead. One of the £1.15 tables I was playing on wouldn't load at all, and a couple of others didn't load properly at the start, so didn't play any more because I didn't want to throw any money away, ended up talking to customer care forever, trying to explain to them that "Clearing cookies on my browser won't do anything because I'm playing on the download client" and "No, it's not my internet connection that's the problem, because it's only a couple of tables not working properly, and if my internet connection wasn't working properly, I wouldn't be playing any tables and I wouldn't be talking to you", eventually got my buy-in back, although wasn't really worth the hassle for £1.15 tbh. Result of today and yesterday are that I'm back to being 1,000 points off the TSP freeroll places on the leaderboard, and it'll be harder for me to make my 1,200 C4P target this month. Will have to catch up tomorrow night.
£1.15 NLH DYM - W6 L2, plus 1 loss due to tech issues refunded, +£2.80
No play on Saturday 28th January - Went to my Uncle's 50th Birthday party in a really posh restaurant, and they had an open bar, happy days However, when I got home, I decided that playing Poker when drunk was a bad idea.
Will be grinding tomorrow, as I need to secure my place in the League Stars freeroll for February (I'm about 200 points clear of the first non-qualifier atm, so will more than likely qualify even if I don't play for the rest of the month), and hopefully reach my target of 1,200 C4P as well.
Decided to try playing 3 x £2.25 and 6 x £1.15, instead of 9 x £1.15, which didn't last long as I just ended up registering for everything. Terrible start, AA < KJ on KJx flop, and QQ < 88 AIPF, began thinking this was going to be one of those days, but ran better since.
Found a way of fitting even more tables on my screen by accident, as I reg'd for 9 DYM's then the PLO Freeroll popped up, had to find somewhere for it lol. Could probably fit up to 13 tables on desktop if I wanted to, but 9 is more than enough for now.
Played 9 £2.25 DYM's, lost 25p, and got 27p worth of C4P, so 2p profit ftw?
Qualified for Tuesday survivor, had a table full of calling stations and hardly played a hand, when I did it was all in or fold pretty much, don't think I had a single hand that went to showdown Should've probably played more DYM's, but got distracted, lol.
£2.25 NLH DYM - W5 L4, -£0.25
Survivor - Bought in for £1 on Sunday, qualified for Tuesday
Bankroll: £111.29 (Including £50 deposit)
Today: -£0.25
C4P: 1094
January C4P Target: 1200 (£12)
30th place in STT League: Tillyseeed - 2,318 points
Fell slightly short of my C4P target this month, couldn't be bothered to play much today.
£2.25 NLH DYM - W0 L0, +£0.00
£3.30 NLH DYM - W1 L0, +£2.70
£2.25 PLO8 DYM - W0 L1, -£2.25
£2.20 SnG - Played 1, didn't cash, -£2.20
£3.30 SnG - Played 1, didn't cash, -£3.30
Survivor - Out, under 10BB, AJs < 88 AIPF. Shoved 4 hands in succession, as I picked up KJ, then AT, then AA and finally AJ, so call with 88 was probably fair enough, probably thought he was better than flipping against me tbf.
Bankroll: £106.24 (Including £50 deposit)
Today: -£5.05
C4P: 1126
January C4P Target: 1200 (£12)
30th place in STT League: Sexbomb1 - 2,455 points
My STT League points: 1,296
Difference: -1,159
Projected 30th place on March 31st: Too lazy to work out atm.
1) Grind low stakes DYM's, build bankroll up as much as possible
Grinded more than usual, but didn't really get anywhere with the bankroll, lol.
2) Qualify for League Stars Freeroll at the end of January
Earned my seat
3) Don't play with more than 5% of my bankroll at any time
Didn't play a single table with more than 5% of my BR at one time, however, did have more than 5% of my BR spread out across multiple tables - Sometimes up to 15% when I tried 9 x £2.25 tables. Think my BRM has improved which was the point of this target, really.
February Targets:
1) Qualify for League Stars Freeroll again.
2) 3,000 C4P - Won't be easy, but not unrealistic either, especially as I have a week off college this month too.
3) Get into top 30 of TSP League, for best chance of staying there in March and getting entry into TSP freeroll at beginning of April.
Started off with everyone hitting their 2 outer against me, ran top 2 pair into sets a couple of times as well. Then had a hand where I turned a full house and my mouse started playing up so auto-folded to a min bet. Grr -.-
Got fed up with DYM's so tried the 5p/5p action table for about 20 minutes, made 19p, then stopped playing for the night.
2nd month in a row that I've lost what I'm due in C4P on the first day of the month... Fail.
£1.15 DYM, W0 L2, -£2.30
£2.25 DYM, W11 L13, -£10.00
5p/5p +£0.19
Bankroll: £105.38 (Including C4P Due and £50 deposit)
Today: -£12.11
C4P: 78
February C4P Target: 3000 (£42)
30th place in STT League: Sauron380 - 2,554 Points
Snow (Yeah, all 1 inch of it here...) seems to be wreaking havoc with the electricity in my house, so only managed 3 games last night before deciding that I didn't want to risk the internet playing up and me losing several buy-ins. Won all 3 for a £8.10 profit, but would've liked to be able to play more. Lack of volume is really sc rewing up my C4P target for the month and my STT League Position.
Will be playing low stakes DYM again today, 2 tables on the laptop in front of the telly until I'm confident that there's not going to be a power cut as soon as I decide to load up 8 or 9 tables.
Really bad start to the month in terms of volume, must play more.
Made £9 on Superbowl bets and probably another £11 in the next day or two from a bet on the England v Pakistan test series, just need to make more from Poker now lol
