5) Not too sure what to make of this one, 3 bet folding @ NL4 seems terrible, but idk? Didn't want to fold AQ, but didn't want to call all in with it once I've been set all in.
Started off by running terribad - Got an early double up in 1 DYM - then went downhill from there. Won't bore everyone with bad beat stories, but KK AIPF vs two limp/callers and end up with the worst hand at the end...Yeah, that's pretty annoying. Finished the DYM's I had already started before going to play Madden to de-tilt. I was having too much fun slaughtering the Kansas City Chiefs to come back and play Poker :P
£1.15 DYM - W3 L4
Bankroll: £94.32 (Including C4P Due and £50 deposit)
Pretty good day today, won a few quid on sports betting (although I don't record that on here), Leeds won 3-2, although Doncaster should've won 9-3 with the amount of chances they had, lol. And my pick-the-horse-with-the-best-name tactic in the Forum Naps table was successful today, too
Played 8 NL4 tables this morning, tightened up a bit (stopped playing with hands like Q10 in the small blind...Just throw it away!), and finished with a £3.46 profit. Seemed to work pretty well, and I only lost a full buy in once all session (And that was TT vs QQ, all in on an ATx board, queen on the turn). There was an ongoing theme throughout the session of getting AJ, raising, then missing the flop. Got AJ about a million times and hit once. No joke. Variance FTW.
DYM session went slightly worse, got a few really, really crazy calls, generally ran pretty bad, although finishing the session with a few cashes made my results look a bit more respectable. Couple of things I was pleased with, 28 games and I was only the first person out once (Coolered AIPF with AA, too), although I bubbled way more often than I would have liked.
Sleep pattern now resembles that of a normal human being at last, which is probably a good thing as I'm back at College on Monday (Less time for Poker, sigh...) - Will hopefully transfer money from savings account to the bank tomorrow so I can sort out train tickets/accommodation for SPT Brighton.

Didn't play at all today - spent most of the day on the Xbox playing Madden instead. Binked free entry to the Sky Sports BH on Thursday on the live show, so will throw in the extra £3.30 and go for the jackpot
To be honest, I've only bothered to read your OP lol but wow you only had £50 at the end of December? I thought you were like a hardcore playing who crushed MTTs, or am I confusing you with another penguin...

I don't crush anything, unfortunately May be getting me mixed up with Penguin7? I don't know.
Oh well, keep it up, you've still made a pretty decent increase on your starting BR. The way I see it with myself is that I have a great hobby which is absolutely free because I've worked up a good bankroll and am good enough to never go bust.
Played for about 3 hours before getting something to eat. Came back and played the £2.30 BH at 1:45. Second hand, AK vs KJ, all in on a KJx flop. Down to 20 chips. Then the nearly-epic comeback, quadrupled up with A8 when all in on the big blind, another double up with KQ AIPF, a treble up with A8, another double up with A4 and I'm back up to 1k chips. Sucked out with A7 v A9, then shoved on 4 limpers when I woke up with QQ in the big blind, got a caller and the hand held up. So I'm up to 2,700 chips, 14th out of 28 with 8 paid, so decent chance of cashing. No bounties though. Unfortunately, 10's vs J7dd vs another hand which was mucked at showdown, AIPF, and J7 rivered a flush to send me out in 16th. A treble up would've put me on 7k chips, given me a bounty, and almost guaranteed a cash. Unfortunately, it wasn't to be. Definitely reminds you to never give up in tournament poker when something like that happens, though.

Got to go in to College today for 10 minutes to speak to somebody, which is a PITA as it takes me 3/4 of an hour to walk there. Total waste of time, and no early morning NL4 grind for me today
As I got free entry into tonight's Sky Sports BH, I've thrown in the extra £3.30 to enter the mini and I'll be going for the Jackpot tonight I have also dropped out of the Top 150 on the Sit 'n' Go League, and I want to double my C4P tally in the last week of the month, so expect to see me playing more NLH and PLO8 DYM's between now and the end of the month.
Felt like cr ap this morning so took the day off college. Was going to play PLO8 all day, until a pop-up about TV DYM tables appeared. Found a table which looked like really good value, and I saw just how much value there was when someone played AA face up (to the point where I looked at my computer screen and said to myself "He's definitely got aces", and a player shoved with 10's on the flop. Indeed, the other guy had AA and snap called, and won the hand. When there was 4 players left - me, an away guy, and two players that were constantly betting into each other, I was loving my life. I loved my life even more when the away guy came back, and someone limp/called with Q8, flopped middle pair, and doubled me up with QQ. More TV DYM's please Sky, because they're softer than a baby's bottom. (Massive sample size of 1 TV DYM FTW)
Played one of the new Timed Donkfests, and with blinds at 100/200 and 900 chips left, I paid the blinds then got moved from the button to UTG on another table, where I picked up 88, and shoved into AA. *insert "Sort it out Sky!" rant here*.
Also played (short stack) briefly (as in 5 minutes before Poker_Fail busted me with 66 vs AK AIPF) at a Master Cash table. Lost my fiver, opened up 9 NL4 tables, spent about £20 on top-ups after just running terribad to begin with, eventually pulled it back, with the help of JJ vs TT on a JTx flop for a pot of about £17. Finished with a decent profit.
Plan on grinding NL4 a bit more for the rest of the month, I enjoy STT's and tournaments but make more money from cash, so I'm planning on getting my BR up rather than being content with small profits, which then get spent on tournaments which I fail to cash in and I end up being a break even player at best. If I didn't play for the rest of the month, I will have made 88p this month once C4P gets paid. Sigh.
Also got £1 on Leeds to beat Pompey (6/4) and Southampton to beat Watford (11/10) tomorrow, so fingers crossed

Despite having "Pingu" in my name, I've never actually watched Pingu in my life - I usually use "Evilpengwinz" or "Evilpenguin78" on other sites, but being limited to 10 characters on Sky meant I had to change that. Didn't want a totally different username to everything else, so "EvilPingu" it was.

I'm sure there's an innuendo in there somewhere but I'm too tired to figure it out, lol. And them C4P are more than welcome - I remember when I got into the UKOPS Main Event for free, the 220 C4P from the ME and the satellite pushed me into the next tier of C4P, so I was basically getting paid £10 to play in the UKOPS Main Event
Master Cash table was fun while it lasted, which for me was all of about 5 minutes until you took my money, lol.

Nothing of any interest outside of Poker today. Finally getting a couple of tournament cashes in the last few days, long may it continue
10th place in the FLOPS BH is a good start, could've been better had my AQ not lost AIPF to Pokertrev's Q7 soooooooooted. Back myself to at least cash in both of the PLO8 events, so think I've got a decent chance in that ARL2 might have to go out of the window though, can't really afford it, don't like timed tourneys either. Will probably just enter the Hi-lo event (12 minute blinds ) and give the rest a miss from now on.
Need to make sure I get to 1k C4P at least, considering I was hoping for 3x that at the start of the month, I'm slightly disappointed with not playing more, but not the end of the world.
