No Sir, I'm afraid I don't, but I'll ask Mother when she gets in the Office, she'll know. She knows everything.

But if she shouts at me - & she is inclined to be grumpy in the mornings (& afternoons & evenings, tbh) - I'm so gonna blame you.

You can see the SPT Newcastle footage during this Saturday's live show, so between 9pm and 1am. We have highlights from the day during the breaks and we are putting together a 30 minute show too. The times for the 30 minute show are as follows:

    21st Jan @ 22:00 and 01:30
    23rd Jan @ 15:30
    24th Jan @ 13:30
    25th Jan @ 11:30 and 00:30
    26th Jan @ 19:00
    27th Jan @ 17:30
    28th Jan (morning of 29th) @ 03:00
    31st Jan @ 13:00

No excuse to miss it now :)

    Thanks

    No, I'm in the office.

"manky"? How DARE you, Sir, do you know who I am? This is "Ask tikay", not "Ask Orford".

It could be Hoggers, though. Or lJAMESl. Even Irene - she wears some pretty manky tops.

Hi Cat. (The swear filter won't allow me to use the other part of your name!).

    Good question!

It gets it's name from the fact that as soon as all seats are filled, it starts.  You sit, & it goes.

It differs from Tournaments in that Tourneys start at an advertised time, not before, not after. Sit & Go's start the moment all seats are filled.

By their very nature, they tend to be One or two Table affairs. Some sites run as much as 5 Table Sit & Go's.

A Tourney might last hours & hours, a Sit & Go tends to be quite quick, maybe 30 to 45 minutes, typically.

Regular Tourneys are called "Multi-Table Tournaments" - "MTT"'s in short.

Sit & Go's are known as "SNG's" & are sort of classified as Single Table Tournaments - aka "STT".

They play quite different to Tourneys, too, as a certain dynamic applies.

Hope that helps, any other questions, fire away. Oh, & enjoy!

    Hi Tikay,

As an avid fan of PLO, I thought i would have a dabble at Hi Lo.  I seem to dimly recall Trevor H doing a nice TV bit about the basics of Hi Lo.

Is there anywhere on the site that the video has been stored so I can watch it again.

Still no sure what the attraction is of Hi LO over PLO, but If you don't try something new once in a while....  etc etc

    Hi Jock,

Yes, the Tutorial Video IS on the Site somewhere. I hope you are not going to ask where it is, though.......because I don't know!.

I'm sure someone will, though, so bear with me, hopefully someone will find it & Post accordingly.

May I ask you a couple of questions now?

    What country are you from?

What make car do you drive?

Just curious, like. You should hear the convos I have with a long-term poker playing acquaintance who goes by the name of "Mad-Turk"......

Well I would just play the small stakes games on here if I were you. The play on them from what I have witnessed is absolutely awful....

Wait a minute that was my play, but it was still awful....

    QFT!

    Afternoon James.

Where were you last night, then? We had a real fun session at 10p-20p, small enough to be fun, but enough to be meaningful, & I ended up with about £60, & MereStPancras had over £100. How do these things happen?

Kind of makes the case, I'd say.....

Hope you are well. You gonna try & qualify for Luton SPT? Go on, you know you want to. ClaireBird qualified last night, so if she can, anyone can.

Was out last night and been really busy lately but will try to get along as much as I can as it is a good laugh. Have been thinking of having playing the SPT but never seem to be around when the sats are starting.

    Will try harder.
