On your poker profile you have: Your best poker moment?: Seeing the Sky Team do so well in Vegas in both '08 & '09 Couldn't this do with an update to read '08, '09 and '10? Might as well get in early and put '11 as well I think. ;-) Posted by Machka

Sorry to hear you are having a bad run, Marie.
Thev software does not need "sorting out", I'm pleased to say, cardroom software here, at Tilt, Stars, & pretty much everywhere, insofar as "dealt cards" is concerned, is controlled by something called a RNG. (Random Number Generator). It's the virtual equivalent of shuffling a deck of cards.
Just because we suffer a bad run does not mean we can, or even should, blame that on the Software, or the Site.
Outdraws are part & parcel of poker, & often come in runs. It as always so in Poker, Live & Online, & always will be. We also need to examine how we played the hands - if we don't play them well, more "outdraws" are likely. People, for example, limp 4 ways with Aces, then complain that they got beat, or mix it up early in Tourneys v the stations, & that's pretty tough.
Any site which does NOT deliver "outdraws" is definitely not to be trusted.
I hope your luck changes. But don't lose the will to live - it's only a game!
In Response to Re: Ask Tikay?: [QUOTE]hi tikay..wots the best way to play the £5k open semi should i play any differently than a normal tourny?? Posted by SARAH0175
Afternoon Sarah.
Your "basic" game should remain as is, with ONE big difference. You are NOT playing to win the Tourney, you are playing to win one of x seats.
So, early doors, play as normal. From mid to late stage, you now need to be very aware of what is going on around you, as we ONLY have to outlast x% of the field. (Usually 80% or 90%).
So, keep the Lobby open, keep an eye on the remaining players, who is in trouble, who has their seat locked up, average stack relative to blinds, etc.
With, say, 20 runners, & 4 seats on offer, 4th & 1st are EXACTLY the same.
Awareness of who is doing what is key.
Big stacks - if they know what they are doing - "lock-up", sit-out almost, or they do if they know what they are doing. No need to risk their stack, as their seat is locked up. Which means "soft spots" for you, especially as very few players notice these details.
As bubble time, or near to it, almost the whole field "freezes". This is where you reap your harvest - you can nick wholesale, as almost everyone is sitting still, trying to sleep into a seat.
Remember Fold Equity, too - the smller stacks wil be desperate to 2xup, & once they raise, they ain't passing, so be very careful.
Players, typically, play Super-Sats VERY badly. Close to the Seat Bubble, I've seen the 2 big stacks clash countless times. That's an ego thing, testosterone maybe. The maddest thing in Mad-City!
Final Table tourney 4 players lrft - one massive stack as he has hit some proper jammy rivers --- under the gun the bigstack limps in---- I also limp -- the big blind (short stacked) checks----flop comes JQ2 all diamonds --- I have Qhearts and 10 diamonds----I check (plan reraise)--- the BB shoves all in about 6k---the big stack calls which I took as weaknness---so I shoved all in 18k and got instantly called by the big stack.
Result was BB bluffing A rag I had top pair Q's with 10d kicker Big has two pair J's and Q's no diamond
I am thinking damage limitation--one more diamond should do it----- turn and river blanks
Q should I have shoved all in or with hind sight should I have called only????

Hi ethioredfo, and welcome to the forum. I dont think that this is something that tikay can actually deal with, you will need to contact customer support who should be able to help with your enquiry. Their details are at the bottom of the page.
