Sorry to bother you with something that is not your concern but I don't seem to be getting anywhere e-mailing sky poker. Qualified for 1K velocity tuesday and accidentally de-registered from tourney, immediately re-registered and the stake was taken from my account but the original stake has also disappeared! Any pointers on who to contact?, cheers tikay, leapylee Posted by leapylee57

Hi Leapy
If you wish to send a pm to a certain player, like Sky Rich for example, find out where they last posted, there you will find the persons name underlined at the left hand side of the post, click on the underlined name e.g. Sky_Rich, this will take you to his profile page where one of the options is to send him a PM

In Response to Re: Ask Tikay? : Mr Trevor Harris! Will Arsenal win the League? Never in doubt. The current tactics - to make it fair - are to give the opposition a 2 goal start, then win 4-2. PS - If Sky-Rich sees this, can he sort out getting Trevor's PTP Avatar onto his Forum Profile, please? Posted by Tikay10
not without his login details.
Trevor - PM me your user ID and Pin and i'll do the rest

I've never been an Arsenal fan, and never will be, but their football makes me drooooooooolllllll. Since Brighton can't win the premiership for at least another 3 years, I hope Arsenal do it this year.
hey tikay i jus wanna know what the odds are off 2 players havin the same pocket pair and 1 player winning with a flush? i was the winning player in this case but just want to know how lucky i was? thanks

Hi Jones,
The price of a player winning with a flush when both have the "same" hand?
If both players have A-K offsuit, they are both 2.17% to win outright, so that's a little under 50/1. It's the same price if, say, both players 8-8.
So yes, you got a bit lucky, 50/1 shots are rarities in poker.
Oddly, Richard Orford came to play at Luton with Lisa-Marie & myself this week, & exited in exactly that coup - A-K off v A-K off, & Matey Boy 4-flushed it.

I'm not an Arsenal fan as such, but I'd love to see them win the Premiership or Champion League, as I admire the way the whole Football Club go about things - financially prudent, good ethics & morals, entertaining football, & a Manager who is probably amongst the top three in the world. What's not to like about that?
I met Charlie George recently at The Emirates to discuss some poker business - that was a bit special.
I never missed a Brentford match, home or away, in 17 years in my youth. Best not to discuss that, eh?
Hi Tikay, I was watching one of the cash tables a couple of nights ago and saw AA vs KK. They split the pot when a J high club flush came down on the table and neither had a club. What's the odds of AA vs KK splitting a pot and what's the odds of 5 cards of the same suit being dealt on the table?
Hi Tikay. I have been playing on sky poker for about a year now and I have my ups and downs during this wonderful game.
When I am good, I am good, but when I am bad, well, lets say, I am like an elephant without a trunk trying to suck water. There just does'nt seam to be an in between, which brings me to my question.
In poker, what has been your highpoint and what has been your lowpoint?

Hi Dav.
1) Thank you very much. I was, of course, outrageously lucky.
2) I'm not sure what a "paperhat" is, I'm afraid. But I THINK (deliberately UPPER-CASE!) I know what you mean. Don't worry about it man.
3) Well that's a tricky one. I know the date, but when dates are "announced" & then, for some reason (IT people are notoriously unreliable with meeting deadlines) those dates are missed, all the sarcy so & so's have a field day, "yeah, yeah, you said it would be last week, you are all useless" sorta thing. But if I were a betting man, I'd say that by the time Shrove Tuesday has arrived, we'll have been playing Hi-Lo on here a few weeks.
And yes, PLO is a quite beautiful game, as far removed from NLH as any game could be. I do find it quite sad that so many people play it so badly though. We hope to address that soon, via some Filmed Tutorials. It's not a good thing that people play it badly, in the grand scheme of things.

I'd like to ask TK whether he thinks my beloved Arsenal can stay at the top of the table until the end of the season!!!!
