Afternoon JJ.
Yes, I've not put the Thread up yet, I will shortly, but tonight's MC Tables will be....
Master Cash 9 (£0.25 - £0.50)
Master Cash 10 (£0.25 - £0.50)
By the way, I was besieged in the Chat boxes last night by regs who wanted to know what tonight's MC Tables would be, & many of them were TP-ers. Maybe we might see some dancing.....I do fancy those Tables will be quite busy tonight, anyway.
PS - I hope you received my PM's - 4 of them! I had to split the reply into 4, for "technical reasons", pah.
PPS - Are you TP-ing next week, or the week after?
Oh 25/50? not been there for a while! Been playing 15/30 20/40 in an attempt to get thru TP! - May be fun tonight then!
Yeh got the Pm's much appreciated. I'm on total player a week on Monday, which Im relieved about. I had a conversation with Neil, who plays under Seagul, hes abit of an IT whizz and suggested my computer doesn't run properly because I use windows vista? So my options are to change to windows XP, or buy some more RAM for my laptop. So gunna take my lappy to see the boffins at PC world and see what they can do. If I was due to play Monday i wudnt have time and wud be stuffed.
Next weeks prep is gonna all be about heads up - Started playing a HU cash table after the deepie on thurs, n was up till 4-30 playing HU sngs with a regular sng 'pro' on here, lol - theory is these cud be over within 5/10 minutes, so will help me get all the games in.

I'm not an IT geek, but almost everyone says Vista causes problems due to the amount of, you know, stuff, it takes to run it.
You DO need to resolve this before Monday week (like you don't know!) as you may be at a severe disadvantage otherwise. You might also chat to Dantb, who only lives up the road from you, & seems to know his IT onions. He's always very helpful, too.
It fills me with pride that you TP-ers are, in a way, out to "kill" each other to win TP, & yet you are all being so helpful & supportive of each other. What a wonderful thing to see.
"I heard you mention the other night that you were a captain at a golf club never realised this before which one were you captain at."
I asked the sender, a good guy, if he minded if I answered it on this Thread. It just saves me time, as similar questions arrive all the time via PM, & I get so behind with the replies.
So, yes, I was honoured to be Captain of Ormonde Fields Golf & Country Club, at Codnor (near Ripley), in Derbyshire. We Members preferred to call it "Royal Ormonde".
It was such a beautiful course, too,. Hilly - VERY hilly, set amidst typical Derbyshire rolling countryside. The Greens were visible from only 2 or 3 holes IIRC, and the opening hole was a right whoozer, & would have made a perfect 18th at almost any course in the UK. Dog-Legged, over water, short Par4, to an Island Green. The only problem is that bad golfer's rounds could be ruined at the first. And I was a truly bad golfer.
TP Mentor's Pick Jakally was a Member there, too, which is where I first met him. All this was pre my poker days though.
I taught the Golf Pro to play Poker later, & he is now a very successful Pro Poker player, and Mentors with a prominent Staking Site. If only he'd tught me to play Golf as wll as I taught him to play Poker.

Hi DOHHHHHHH
If you're stuck on Vista it's worth trying the 'fudge' I suggested HERE Sometimes disabling that feature helps improve general performance. Worth a try!
PS - good luck finding a computer boffin working in PC World lol ;-)
