Some bad news about Acebarry10

Hi All, this is Alison once again. A lot of this community knew Barry before he had to go into hospital for an operation in January this year. The poor guy had been in and out over a couple of months. The last update I did he was imporoving.

However, it is with a heavy heart that I inform you that my father (Barry), passed away on the 3rd of May in Hospital. It was a shock to both myself and his wife that it happened so fast.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who knew Barry, talked to him, made him pretty darn happy when you were sending get well wishes.

I know dad has some money still showing on his account here and i'm unsure as to how i will be able to transfer it out as his bank account is closed. I'm also going to need some advise on how i will need to close this account in a couple of days time.

    This truly is terrible news Barry was one of the nicest people on Sky Poker who would always go that extra mile to help

    Incredibly sad news, Barry was a very nice guy who would always help and give advice to anyone who asked.

    Barry was a keystone of this community and I'm extremely sad to hear this news.  My sincere condolences to you and Barry's family.

    As far as his account goes, is it possible for one of the admin team to freeze the account when you are ready instead of closing it, as closing it will delete every single post Barry made here and that's a legacy I'm sure we don't want to lose and he wouldn't want to disappear.

    Very sad to hear this news.  It was always a joy when Barry popped up on the rail, and the forum will be a lesser place without him.  Condolences.

    Thank you all, it means a lot to see these comments. A freeze on the account maybe a good bet at a later date than delete.

    Sorry to hear the news.  Barry was probably the most respected person on the forum from the day it started.

    What a shock we were expecting him back here soon,  so sad .  TK did did indicate Barry still had complication.  We will all miss him and the Forum has not been the same since he left.  My Heart goes out to Barry's Wife and to you and all his Family. God Bless you all.     Hubby who knew Barry when he was on Sky Poker, is shocked,  as are we all.   We send our Love at this sad time and hope it help's you to be strong in the coming weeks.   Hugs  Annie xxxxx

    Such sad news.  It was only a few days ago that people were asking about Barry :(
