    Very sad news indeed. I never met Barry, but he was a true gent on the rail and on the forum. We have lost one of the good guys :-( 

    My thoughts are with his family at this sad time

    Such sad news. A genuinly lovely bloke whenever we met in the chat box.

    that's really sad news,

    we played together last year at the leeds SPT...he had to leave his stack halfway through the day as he wasn't feeling well,

    he popped up online the following night to say hello,

    This is shocking news! Like Rich said, I was hoping to see Baz back in the near future.  He has been sorely missed these last few months.  Hard to accept he'll not be on "the rail" again.  Thoughts are with you & your family.

    Barry was one of the people who made me feel welcome at sky at first. Im sure ill not be the only one that misses him.

    ...I'm truly shocked and saddened to hear this awful news.......in Barry we have lost a a true gentleman and was the 1st person that would help others when anyone asked. The community will miss him as he was extremely well loved and respected and our fond memories of him will live on for a long long time.

    ...My sincere condolences go out to you, your mother and all your family and friends.
