I'm really shocked and saddened to hear about this.
I thought Barry was possibly getting better. Such a shame. He was a great guy and a lynchpin of the Sky Poker TV channel and Play The Presenter Nights.
He always came to say hello to me in the chatbox and was a thoroughly pleasant and nice chap to talk to.
I even had the privilege of finally meeting the man at an SPT gig the other year.
Once again, am very sad to hear this news and will greatly miss him.
RIP Bazza.
And my condolences to you Alison and the rest of the family.
Very very sad news, when i first joined the forum Barry was the first friend request i had as im sure he is at the top of all peoples list. His work in promoting and helping out in forum comps was faultless and done on his own not looking for financial gain he did them because he enjoyed it. A great bloke who will be sorely missed.
Very sad news Alison Barry was a loverly guy and made this forum a great place to visit, we shall all miss him very much and my thought are with you and your family at this very difficult time. Take care of yourself and godbless rest in peace barry.
Very sad news indeed. I did not know Barry, though I recognise the name from many posts and tables play, but I can see from all the comments what a nice and well respected guy he was. I first heard about his ill health on the show, and could tell immediately from the presenters' warm comments what a nice person Barry must be ,and I am very sorry to hear he has passed away.

Barry was a real gentleman and will be sorely missed by all here. As has been said many times a true legend of this site.

As far as im am concerned Barry or Bazza as i called him is a Sky Poker Legend
In the early days he tirelessly promoted the deepstacks on this forum, and railed me and many others offering great moral support.
