Nick has posted a new blog here is a link to it.  EDIT>  Until further notice I have removed the link  MOD_JOCKBMW

I have deleted the original thread as there was some doubt as to the authenticity of some of the post, which were supposed to be posted on behalf of an individual.

I'm sorry for the deletion of the entire thread but I didn't see any other choice in this matter

Jock tbh, we shouldnt even be promoting the link on here, but im not a moderator

not a blight on Nick, but slating an ex-employee is bad form for the community imo

Seems abit unfair that Nick is now unable to reply to what was said on Ed's behalf ....

The post in question was authentic - The person in question had no alternative but to answer it that way. It's very unfair to allow a blog that criticises an individual whilst denying them the right to reply.

I know the posts were authentic as I spoke to the person earlier and he confirmed they were genuine. Bad moderation when it's so one sided.

Why not ?   There are no rules against this.

Plus, it was a very interesting blog, which many people including myself are looking forward to read.

I think Nick said it all in his blog - the right of reply is blocked the other way!

please mods, listen to the voice of reason, this presents the whole community in a very bad way.

What next??? Tikay retires and we all slate him publicly??

Yes, i know i have on occasion had a rant about the algorithms that match the RNG, but public ridicule of a former employee is just not cricket

Have Nick's criticisms been deleted from his blog?

The rules of the forum are not to slate other mempbers/sites/public figures etc, Nick has blatantly did this in his blog, and therefore we should not allow the link to remain.

If you want to check the legal aspect of this Mr 1267, i got my team of lawyers ready

Anyone can put on a post and say that it is someone else.  If the individual has issues with Nicks Blog then he can reply on Nicks Blog.

I take on board what you are saying though regarding the link so I shall remove the link until Sky have made a decision regarding this matter.

Hey guys, I'll just clear things up quickly.

First off I didn't slate Ed's analyst skills, I thought he was a good analyst. I wrote a blog about my Total Player experience which he happened to be 'involved in'. I spoke truthfully and if that's not good enough for people then fair enough. I have no reason to lie on the matter, I'd much rather have written how Ed was a great mentor, taught me lots, great guy etc - but simple fact is I couldn't.

Secondly, Ed has the right to reply to my blog of course he does - he could have done it on there in person though. i thought his replies were a bit below the belt tbf and I can't understand how he has come to that conclusion after speaking to me for a grand total of...maybe 60 seconds? The second one in particular was a complete fabrication.

if you have gotten to know me over the last couple of years, or indeed don't know me and have started to by reading this blog - you'll know/have a fair idea that I'm not how he painted me in those replies. Particularly at the time I was the complete opposite - I had some confidence but I had played the game for less than a year and all I wanted to do was learn.

Fwiw I spoke to all the other candidates from his team on the show and I hope they don't mind me saying they all had very similar thoughts - clearly the issue wasn't just mine and therefore not a personality clash or because 'I made his skin crawl'.

Anyway hopefully we can move on from this post - loads more to come (not all controversial as this one has turned out). Will continue to be honest so if you can handle it keep reading!

    Cheers

I have removed the link Alan.  I will forward this onto Sky and let them make a decision.  I am closing this thread now as there seems little point in continuing this debate until Sky make a decision

    Regards

Can't help but feel you have gone power mad by deleting the link.

Ed has nothing to do with Sky now, and i can't really see how Nick expressing his opinion on Ed is really a problem.

In TommyD's blog, people have slagged off footballers etc... , are you going to delete that too ?

And Jaegar/Elsa - I didn't 'slate' Ed, I told the truth about the Total Player series. There is a huge difference to what I posted on my blog and his replies on here imo.

No reason why the link shouldn't stay up - what I wrote shouldn't impact peoples thoughts on his analyst skills at all.

If the link doesn't get put up in the future then anyone interested in following the blog still can follow me on twitter at @ndmpryce - I'll tweet new posts.

I mean I'm doing my best to make sense to you here Elsa but for the third or fourth time...

You and Ed do realise there is a COMMENT function on my blog don't you? Like at the end of the posts you can click 'comment' and then write what you want..?
