    sigh.....

    ok rule 1. swearing???
    rule 2??? defomatory libellous remarks
rule 3....conversations between skypoker staff and customers.

Breaking 1 rule can lead to a thread/comment but breaking 3 is allowed????

Nick, this is nothing against you or your blog, however Sky must be seen to be being fair and abiding by its own rules and guidelines, and not throwing them out the window when it suits??

Without knowing any details as to Ed's departure from Sky Poker, it is not unknown for there to be legal entanglements - such as non-disclosure agreements - when people leave high profile roles. If so, then Sky cannot allow any situation that could lead to the agreement being compromised, and could not discuss it either - such is the way of modern business.

It is clear that this topic is one that Sky cannot allow on it's forum - like it or loath it let's move on

Sigh, I picked a bad day to give up coffee.

Re the original thread, before Jock deleted it I had closed it, just after writting a lovely long post explaining everything to you guys.  It's gone now.  Marv, cheers Jock ;)

This is a request for everyone to play nice. I have no intention of closing this thread as none of the forum rules have been broken.  All parties are welcome to post here but if anyone breaks forum rules, and I'm particularly thinking in terms of rudeness and abuse towards another member of the community, then I'm snap deleting those individual posts.

Forum rules do not cover Nick's blog and as at present there is no link to that blog this thread is in no way breaking any rules.

    Please keep it that way.

    End Mod mode.

In Response to Re: Nick Pryce, New Blog 30th May : I mean I'm doing my best to make sense to you here Elsa but for the third or fourth time... You and Ed do realise there is a COMMENT function on my blog don't you? Like at the end of the posts you can click 'comment' and then write what you want..?

You brought the subject onto this forum - a public forum - where the guy has no right of reply as his forum privileges have been removed.

"The views expressed on Nick's blog do not represent the views of Sky Poker or the Sky Poker community."

    *link to blog*

Is all that is needed. Discussion can then carry on.

He is perfectly able to reply on the blog, which is linked on this forum. Everyone would read the comment on the blog.

I understand perhaps you are not my biggest fan, and yes Ed is from the telly and it must make you feel great to be 'friends' with him and side with him. I'm very sorry I told the truth about your pals contribution to my Total Player experience.

Ed can reply to the blog if he wishes, if people are able to click on his blog and discuss it here, they can read the comment and discuss it here. I dont see what the problem is.

Can Ed reply to the criticism? Yes.
Does he need ot do it on this forum? No.

I am a bit peeved that my intial concern over this has been deleted but the matter can be discussed freely still.

yes thats right Nick.............and all im trying to do is get rid of the link.

Carry on blogging, its actually quite funny , hilarious even

But public ridicule of a former well-respected employee, without balance on this forum is a DISGRACE!!!

And all those defending it should be ashamed, very ashamed with themselves.

You know what, i hope something similar never happens to any of you.

I genuinely try to put things back into the community, but sometimes i despair.

Elsa, I have to stop you there.

The blog is a public forum where, as far as I am aware, everyone has a right to reply.

The subject of the blog was not brought here by Nick.

I have no idea in regards to if forum privileges were removed and frankly I don't unquestionably believe anyone on the internet who claims to be someone else or acting for someone else.  You claimed earlier to have confirmed this by speaking to the person, when you say speak are you being literal?  Did you in person, face to face, speak to Ed and he confirmed to you he was responsible for every word claimed to be on his behalf?

The blog was in part reproduced on here by Nick. Therefore Ed should have the right of reply on here.

From a mutual point of view this seems to have gotten seriously out of hand. Now for one i would read Nicks Blog, so far its been fantastic, and at the stage he was writing about when he was in TP is sort of the stage i imagine myself to be in now. I dont expect to make money but id love to be mentored, but it would have to be by the right person. This is why i was so enjoying it because i can sorta relate to that stage (well without the making money part lol :) )

However if Ed was to write a blog chances are if i enjoy reading the first few posts id more than likley keep reading.

Simples. Opinions are everything weather we agree, disagree, or are mutual we are all entitled to our opinions. Some will state their opinions stronger than others and this is obviously where wires become crossed.

Why do you feel the need to deprive people interested in poker the chance to read an interesting blog about how a player "became pro " ?

Public ridicule lol ??? , one person expressing his opinion .
I bet Joey Barton wishes this was public ridicule .

Have you thought about why I wrote what I did? Did I have any reason to other than it's the complete truth? Is it a disgrace to speak the truth about being treated that way by a 'well respected former employee'? Do you think that if he treats people this way then it's fair if one of the affected persons can write about that?

To be completely honest, I think it's a disgrace the way he acted towards me and treated me on the Total Player show. For me to speak out about that isn't public ridicule. If you don't believe me then I really don't care, you may worship him as much as you want. I'll continue to be completely honest.
