    I will just do a small update on how Friday went as it is very late.
    overall I got a loss today of £7 a loss of £8  was from MTT and £6.10 loss was off SnG
    I did have that good a start with cash but gradually managed to relax.
    as for my improvement on aggression it mainly relates to how i am doing on the cash tables.
    MTTs i still am weak at times especially the late stages

    from tomorrow I will be getting back to my dominance I have with cash tables as the number of MTT i was on this week have wrecked my BR. micro cash tables might have poor players but they are nowhere near as strange as some of the tournament players are.
    my BR has dropped right down to £198

    AKs must be the the worst hand of them all during the early stages I don't know where to progress from the flop if I miss even a reraise preflop doesn't seem to be enough signals of strength

    One way to look at AK - Its only ace high.

    First hand you 100% have to fold to the shove.  You've overplayed AK.  You have no draws.... just A high.

    Second hand i dont see much wrong with.  Continuation bet is fine.  Then you pick up flush draw.  Im sticking it in too.

    3rd hand is just unlucky.

    Don't blame AK, it depends how you play it.

    Hand 1 - Raise smaller pre, c-bet fine, 100% fold to the shove. Looking at stacks actually I might even take a really weak line and just check looking to fold to a bet cos we only have 20xBB now and we're c-betting for 15% of our stack knowing we HAVE to fold if we get raised or get called and dont improve on the turn.

    Hand 2 - Given stack sizes I'd probably jsut check back the flop, take the free card cos any bet is pretty pot committing. Again, take the free card on the turn, we won't get called by worse, we'll 100% of the time be in a situation where we are the underdog and needing to hit. You've been given the option to try to improve for free, take it and fold if we miss.

    I have just finished 1st in a £300 BH for a buy in of £5.75 the prize was £61.05+£26.49 from 6 HP
    I got off to a very good start with my second hand being doubled.

    forget tournaments today has been a terrible day on cash tables.
    overall if it weren't for that winning tournament my BR would have toppled.
    overall the losses from cash tables was -£53.87 even the nl4 got a loss of £5.36 on one table and an action table got one of £9.42.
    so I finish with a profit of £11.33 mainly thanks to that winning BH
    my BR is £205
    this was a very tough one

    I am starting to get back onto the cash tables again where I should be playing poker instead of the MTTs.
    you just don't realise how costly a £5MTT to a BR that is £250 when you first start until the BR drops to under £100 which was what happened.
    what I kept thinking was I buy £10 worth of chips in some cash tables forgetting that most of my losses were usually just £2.
    I did still play some MTTs today, they were 2 3.30 timed 1 £5.75 BH 2 £2.30 BH and the mini I managed to win £28.12 in one of them.
    I have started to play more Omaha hi lo DYMs today I did 4 and managed to win in all of them their was 2 5.50 and 2 £2.25.

    the MTTs that i have will be in today are £250BH (2.30) the £500BH (2.30) and the mini plus if i can i will be in the 2K BH via the freeroll sat.
    most my other poker is cash tables and DYM Omaha hi lo and i have already got off to a very good start with a profit so far of £10.85 from DYM and £36.67 from cash tables the nl10 i did being the the major part with a profit from that one of £30.96

    this evening things didn't go to plan i didn't win anything from the MTTs so lost £12.06 from them all the profit from SnG went out the window as it finished with just £2.60 profit
    as for the cash tables then still did ok and i manage a overall profit from them of £26.25.

    today has finished with profit of £14.49
    my BR is £164.72

    calcalford if you are a bit confused with my BR i think in recent days i have just been putting rough totals in i have withdrawn money twice in the past.
    also i have been a bit too annoyed with myself sometimes to write my posts and was loosing track. yesterday was when i started to get back on track again

    Yea,

    You seem to put in a lot of time and work so out of all the 4nl regs I would like to see you with a decent profit each month.

    If I may interject your recent theme. I would say structure is key to winning long term. Crack on with cash, you are better than a great deal of players. Set aside a specific time each night to play x number of tables at 4nl (not too many now) and I reackon you could be worth £150+ each month easy.

    Rather than the larger bankroll swings of MTT

    this is going to be the last of them that's for sure because with micro MTT the betting is so poor all that seems to happen is either the min donk betting is done or the full shove they just don't seem to know what a value bet is. one of the main reason I was starting to try out some MTTs was to have a bit of action but they are much less likely to be willing to fold in MTT that they are in cash plus it cash tables I will be the only one with a decent chip stack so therefore it makes it very to for me to be a table bully and steal small pots.
    I will play the freerolls instead and also I will continue with SnG because atleast I do quite good in the Omaha hi lo  SnG plus they can be relaxing.
    as for today it was bad all round with some very bad decisions being done a few cooldowns and bad beats the cash tables came to a total loss of -£38.88 the MTTs -13.15  SnG -£3-25

    I was going to slow play the AA thinking he will have a strong hand but when both the board shows K Q and 8 it makes it get much more harder so I was left to just call and then should have folded the turn

    the reason for the call on this flop was I had a runner runner flush so thought maybe I could call the flop and if a club came on the turn I might try and bluff myself the pot with a bet or shove.

    No free cards Craig,
    In both hands there are plenty of turn cards we hate and could put us in awkward spots.
    If you're going to bet when you miss, you must also bet when you hit. You need really good reasons to check in these spots.

    Hand 1 (AA) - 3bet WAY bigger pre, there's a 3x and then 2 calls and on top of that we're alot deeper than just 100xBB so can 3bet/4bet bigger, we should be going to something like £2 imo. When Arazi 4bets you have made a massive mistake by not trying to get it in now. You probably have to fold the turn as played cos it's virtually always gonna be JJ/QQ/KK but we should never have got to that stage without the money being in the middle (or Arazi folding).

    Hand 2 (QQ) - Betting is good, yes we have the it locked up so that it's pretty hard for him to have Qx but most people at these stakes will still call with Tx, KJ, some GS draws and all kinds of random junk.

    Hand 3 - 3bet bigger. Our 3bets should be about 10xBB and even more when someone has already called the open, so we wanna be raising to about £1+, I probably go £1.20 ish just to get max value from what are probably stationy folk at this level. You have to bet flop, just unfortunate you didn't get a call, but doesn't mean you should stop betting.

    The hand v me mate like Lambert says you should def be 3 betting way bigger pre then after my 4 bet you should be 5 betting although as played you did get me to put about 65 bbs in when i was behind and just got unlucky on the turn.

    After your tiny 3 bet you left me no choice but to 4 bet big because i didnt want to go 4 way with JJ with another 2 guys in the pot and wanted the betting lead.

    If you had shown any real strength at any point before the turn my hand woulda been in the bin but the way you played it like i said got me to put 65+ bbs in with the worst hand and if a brick had hit the turn im sure you would have got more because i love the odd crazy play on the tv tables lol

    You have a very good solid cash game mate but if i were to offer some advice it would be to keep off the mastercash tables on show nights when your BR is what it is at the mo because you will be put to alot more decisions than at a normal 10nl table and in the main the players playing on the show nights are alot better than at a normal 10nl table.
