You have suited connectors, so nothing wrong with the call. This guy had the total nuts, so you got away really cheap! We're just really ul he has higher straight, whats the chances.

my only reason as to why he did not raise it on the turn is the board was a rainbow but It still is very well connected to allow two pairs as possibility.
my guess is it was just another case of a beginner getting too concerned that a raise will result in him getting called by stronger hands such as 8 10 betting with a double gut shot or a FH. I even said in the comment box "thanks for you calls" as a basic tip that he is wasting the chance to steal lots.
as for my preflop all 3 of you are probably right because a call can be ok but the difficulty with suited connectors is when OOP if manage to hit my hand but am on a passive table all I am left to do then is jump straight in with a bet and hope i still manage to get a call and if it is the flush I hit it makes the strength much more obvious.
atleast when I am in position villians might think that I am pulling a bluff.

forget micro stakes the real beginners appear more often in BH's
if I have a tight image villians are much more cautious in nl4 cash tables yet even tight images won't reduce the risk he has calling.

as i did get 2 HP from that tournament i decided to enter another one and again had a bad caller the difference with this one was i got back in front with a FH and so i went on to finish in 11 and won 5.34 with a HP and will play the mini turbo.

things today were not very good in cash games and i suffered a small loss of -8.33
i made a profit on 6 tables and that totalled £10.97 my best table got £3
the losses i had was £19.30 the worst was a loss of -£4.

after a long break in tournaments i decided to enter a BH and the first one didn't go that well and i finished in 15th place and won £4.22 HP i used that in a second BH which went a bit better and i won £5.46+ £3.27HP
then i went into the mini and in that i got of to a very good start with my 2nd and 3rd hand being AA and facing KK in that tournament i finished 13th with a prize of £14.50+18.06HP (5 heads)
overall i finished today with a profit of £20.18

Cant believe the bankroll has shot up to £251.77 so quickly thats over a £100 since you returned from your break really impressed with how you dealt with that period, took a break and did some reviewing and worked on your game, have to admit when we were looking through your hhs you did have loads of coolers but you also recognized where you were going wrong in alot of hands and seem to have fixed alot of the leaks and the hard work is starting to pay off. WP on the cash in the mini, good to get a cash on your return to mtts.

today has been a strange day because although I only got a small loss that was helped greatly from yet more villians who don't seem to raise once I make a bet.
the total I lost from tables was -£11.03 from 8 tables overall
the profit I got was £8.18 from 4 tables.
the overall total today was a loss of -£2.85 and my BR is now £248.92
today I dropped 1 nl4 and had a nl10p table i didn't start well and lost £2.
part of why i joined a nl10 is so i can start to get a better understanding of aggressive villians. i am now getting convinced that with nl4 the only way pots are going to be decent is if i shipped it all myself or do overbets as villians will rarely seem to make a reraise much against me not even with the NUTS.

Mate thats a really nice jump in bankroll! last time i seen it it was down at 130 or something.

Did you have a good wee run?

4nl is annoying right now, i played yesterday and today for 6 hours total and only am showing a profit of £3.

It seems like theres a lot more regulars, multi tabling, who ive never even seen till recently.

Plus theres a lot more people calling me down with j 2/ k 3 hands and hitting there 2 pairs on the river!

things today returned back to winning way on the cash tables again after the bad spell that I had in my last two sessions.
overall I've finished with a profit today of £26.16 from 12 tables
6 tables (2 nl4 2nl10 2act) got me winning which totalled £49.59 a big part of that was from a profit of £30.12 on a nl10.
the 6 table (5nl4 1 nl10) losses came to a total loss of £23.43 and the biggest loss was £7.52 from a nl4.

after a long session over 2 and a half hours of play on 6 tables (4nl4 1 act and 1 nl10) I have finish with a profit of £12.35 which was mostly thanks to the action table which I won £10.66 as for the nl10 it didn't really have any change to my buy in as it lost just 3p. the session itself was very quite and passive to begin and caused a bit of losses due to me feeding my fairly strong hands to tight passive villians so i went for a change of play on the just the nl4 and became LAG and if i held a decent enough hand i just shoved my hand if any bet even 4p was done.

I am probably quite lucky to have made a profit from today as I had a very bad start and had £1+ from4 hands compared to only 1 hand winning £1+ in the first 30 minutes. overall I managed just £5.44 profit from 9 tables.
6 tables got a win (3 action 2 nl4 1 nl10) the biggest win was 8.35(nl10) the total I got was £11.89
the 3 table losses came from nl4 and the worst one was a loss of £4.53.

preflop I decide to call thinking now AA KK or AK could be possible. then when the flop showed a J i was thinking maybe he could be holding AA or KK and be thinking that i held JJ and well if he raised then i will sure to be behind.

one thing i do realise is by doing the shove right away you managed to get the most because if you just call the turn when that 2nd J comes i would only be check or folding on the river.
