In my opinion, you played the hand very well, prob bet more on flop but no problem.
If you check fold the flop you look incredibly weak and exploitable.
If you had folded to the ridiculous min raise then I would probably have had to terminate my friendship with you.
As long as you're now barreling when you hit as well (and not trapping as you were doing before) then the balance is good.
If jack nine had really called you preflop raise then good luck to him. Obviously though we now want him to have exactly that as we will never lose any more money on a blank river and will get the lot when we do connect.

ty Paul, ha ha, yeah,no way was i folding there m8. tbh,it was just a dream hand, and as i said 'played out perfect'..this time. it's nice when 'a plan' like this one actually works,as so often, they don't. it's still very early days but at last it's beginning 'to click' just a little,as it did with my dym game last year. i don't want to get carried away with it though, but i'm feeling more confident than ever now, that this 'cash' game is beatable. best wishes buddy dev
wasn't going to play tonight...but after y'day's win,couldn't resist.
won £8.64
b/roll £307.50 (down £24.24 this year)
2 tables nl4 1hr 15 mins play
yiiiipee another win, just played solid again, when i went in ahead my hands held, which is always nice. anyway, happy days...not sure just how long this 'winning streak' will last, but enjoying it,as it's all been pretty much 'doom & gloom' so far this year. lol (* *) ^ dev
Good to see you back on the tables dev, keep up the good work mate confidence can be a massive factor in poker i think, if you feel good about your game keep doing the right things and playing the way you feel comfortable and i'm sure you will show a profit by the end of the month.

ty benc, yes, confidence is massive in any sport/game,and i've only just found it this last week. it's strange how it can come from nowhere and it's only come by me making just one or two slight adjustments to my game. oh,just one more thing; from W.H SMITH'S (i hope it's ok to advertise),this week i bought a 'white board' (£2,99)which i've been using to write down a few simple noted to myself, which seems to be working. that's it for now, hope you all run good this w'end dev
Interesting piece of advice Dev and looks like it's working for you. It's great how little things like that can help. Thanks Sky Poker Posted by Sky_Poker

Hi Dev. GL with the grinding mate Just wondering are you playing the 4nl tables through choice or because your BR isnt big enough to move up yet ? Its just that i have watched you play and imo you are easily good enough to be playing alot higher GL Daz Posted by _ARAZI_
Hi ARAZI, that's a good question m8.but the truth is it's through choice, but thanks for the kind words re my play. you've got more confidence in it than i have. lol there are alot of heavy grinders at nl10 most multi-tabling, and with only a £300 b/roll if as i already have found out,i have a bad session i could easily lose £50-£100 most likely through my bad play, and it's a risk i feel i don't need to take and therefore the reason i'm playing nl4 at the moment.
i've always tried to give myself little targets,as with my dym challenge last year,as i tend to get a little bored just playing day in day out, although there is nothing wrong with that, especially if your b/roll is building. but then mixed in with that,i take my poker 1 day at a time, which kind of balances things out,i guess, and if i wake up with some kind of idea in my head, then quite often i'll just go with it.
as for the moment,i'll play it safe i think and try building my roll playing 2 tables at nl4 and i've also just started playing the £1.10 £100 deepstack which i've been enjoying playing in. i'm in no hurry atm but i'm sure i'll be back at nl10 again when i feel i'm ready, and my b/roll is a little more forgiving for that level.i'm thinking i need around the £500 mark for 1 or 2 tables.
WON £28.67 B/ROLL £339.75 (UP £7.93 THIS YEAR) c4p 202
wooohooo...
i was sat there watching the darts on Sky & playing the £100 Deepstack, and something just told me to play nl10 tonight...so i did. played 2 tables for about 1 & 1/2 hours i wish i hadn't as i was simply card dead, and any hands i did try and play ended up going nowhere.so i was aroung £12-£15 down. then i picked up 1 or 2 1/2 decent hands that held and managed to get back to level. from there my confidence just grew & grew with every hand that i was playing in and winning. so ended up playing 4 tables. so there it is.my 1st night returning to nl10 since playing it back in the January cash promotion.. and we all know how that went. lol ok,mustn't get too carried away as it's only one nights play, but i've got to be happy...haven't i. must try and back it up with another win tomorrow,or at least not suffer a big loss.
Told ya you were easily good enough to play higher mate
Watched you for a bit tonight cos followed a player to one of your tables to finish off a few notes on him and you never put a step wrong while i was watching.
Dont change things while your on a roll and same again tomorrow mate cos even at 1 or 2 buyins a night on 10nl that br will fly up.
was at your table a few times tonight dev and you have a good solid game thats what you need to beat this level welldone and like arazi said just winning a couple buyins a night by end of the month you will see a big difference in your roll.
also arazi hope I was not the player you were following putting notes like spewtard, easy money, fish lol.
