Is it? that, I incorrectly, base, my poker debates, on hard, cold, math?
Mr PJ.
The TT v A7 hand .
Preflop it's 8% for the A7 hand.
Do you get A7 has to win enough times to be 8%?
Send me some kind of signal that you understand this.
Not to be the one who rides to the rescue of @misterpj, but the TT v A7 hand is approximately 72%/28% preflop. I think you meant A7 8% postflop. I was lucky enough to win an MTT much earlier today yet went 40 consecutive hands from the start of another without winning a hand and was out soon after. We all make mistakes and sometimes it's easier to blame the cards rather than bad play. Poker will always be a live and learn game.

So very true.

The probabilities will never change. Ever. Never. In the end they even out. Always.
There is a saying that the cards have no memory. It's true. They don't know, or care, who wins or loses.
Take a step back and look at all of your play. Don't just post the hands that you lose when you are ahead. It does no one any good

Out of interest, what are the changes you have made to your game? If you are all in pre flop, of what relevance is the run out or the odds at any stage apart from pre flop odds?
' benji, I got my noodle down, ripped my game to shreds, over months, and rebuilt it, are the results shown? because, I cannot play? ...
I shared tables with you a number of times in recent weeks (post "rebuild") and I still saw you doing questionable things which are miles away from a solid, winning strategy; you min 3 bet my LJ open from BB (not a thing at any stack depth and certainly not at ~40bb effective). You attempted to isolate multiple limpers from the SB a number of times with a min raise (also not a thing). There were also several spots where it seemed like you were either choosing a raise or 3 bet size at random or else it was based on what you were holding...
You have to forget about the bad beats/run bad, stop using it as a crutch and get these things you CAN control sorted properly first. I see the bad beats but I also see a rushed "rebuild" on foundations which appear to be far from solid.
Azahuerk, never, needed, or required, rescuing, in my life. Thank you, all the same, though. 52 cards, divided into 4 equal suits, pure Shuffled, dealt, accordingly. Fundamentally, based, on mathematical probability, otherwise, skill zero, and, summit else, hero status, easiest, kop out, shout, VARIANCE. 😘👍

Am I getting old here. How does JJ 44 beat QQ 44
It doesn't. It was the tiny left over side pot which KQ couldn't win as they were covered by AA.
im used to it now lol i should be rich but im not and realised a long time ago if i wanted to continue playing this game i would have to take 3 steps forward and 2 steps back. As long as im 1 step forward im ok with that in life.
