"Just interested on your take on the race, as write ups are often not accurate."

Judge for yourself, here's the race.

If Jim had held on to it for a bit longer it would of won no question, but Lingfield all weather track is a nightmare if you kick to early time and again you get run down.

The winner looked like it ran in snatches, and first time in a handicap after a long break.
Adhab had already run in a10F race , with supposedly a wind problem, won’t comment on the tackle. But if there were issues, then by dropping back to a mile, it had to be up in the van.
Willie Carson once stated that a horse can only keep at its top speed for 2F.
I’m thinking that if Crowley had waited later, the field would be up his bottle, and it would have got out kicked. I’m thinking the ride was faultless, but wouldn’t follow any of them, as they finished in a heap.
    Still unlucky though.
I think having first run made it looked like Adhab had some toe. An illusion.

Hey Paul...I'm happy to admit I know chuff all (by choice) about HR but when i check out your tip Captain Guinness, I get odds of 8/13, which is a long way from the punt at 16/1?

have I missed something about this John McC style tip? Be quick as I'll need to put your reply into this web page twice https://www.google.com/search?q=google+translate&oq=google+translate&aqs=chrome..69i57j0j0i433j0j0i433l3j69i64.5512j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

    @madprof

8/13 is for it's little race today, 16/1 is for the Arkle at Cheltenham in March.

Think, you will find, the horse injured itself, jumping the 5th (swinging in front) which is why Racheal Blackmore quickly did, what she did, no accounting for that, would rather lose money, than any animal, equine or otherwise, ever sustain an injury.
  • misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,204
    Love a challenge.
    Factual Accuracy.
The winner of that Novices Chase yesterday, as short as 14s general, and a standout best 20s Willy Hills for the Arkle Novices Chase, Chelters next March
An uninjured sound Captain Guinness, injured jumping the fifth (in front lobbing) beats that, unextended, by a distance, you can visually see (if you have the correct angle of the race recording) Captain Guinness injures rear quarter muscles jumping the fifth fence, in layman's terms, sustained an injury during the race. The horse, did not make a Horlicks of the jump, it was the horrible twist, its back, and rear quarters, twisting 45 degrees.
Now, all and always a question of perspective, personally, I do not give a 'toffee' about losing money yesterday, or, if I have lost money with a long range ante post bet (could get onto a joust, about long range ante post portfolios, but nows not the time) I would rather lose money, on any horse, than, it sustain an injury, of any type, I would rather lose money, and a horse recovers from an injury, never mind whether it ever races again, and any horse, is fit, healthy and looked after.
Me, fortunate to see, horses stabled in a beautiful setting, several days a week, any day I wish to actually, and the stable staff, are dedicated to the well being of the horses beyond the call of duty, beyond 'racing glamour' tis proper hard graft'.
Horses, do recover, some might not race again, but, either or, dressage, even better, the other stable I go too, has a dedicated hard working team, and, a 'special paddock' what for?
Ex racehorses used to assist and enhance the lives of mentally handicapped, take an hour, go see, the joy, these horses bring, to the faces of those, that get to sit, and taken around the paddock, on the long rein, worth more than any monies lost betting a horse.
Exclusively and only (every day) mentally handicapped individuals of all ages, females and males, to see the joy, it bring to their faces, to be sat on a horse (with expert teams care and attention) ought to ( does mine) bring a tear to your eye.I get to see, huge smiles, unadultered joy, on the faces of individuals, that have been through more, than most of us, and they 'deal with it, on a daily basis.

So, when betting go wrong, question of perspective.

Go back, to Captain Guinness prior run, Cheltenham Supreme Novices, March, Captain was Tanking, two out, (hurdles) horribly, horrendously unlucky to be brought down by a horse falling in front of, and across it.Not set a hoof, on the racecourse since then, until yesterday, extensively schooled over fences, jumps like a dream, at pace, with a huge engine, for the horses sake, if possible, hope the Captain gets a chance, to strut his real ability, but the horses health and well being much more important than that.

Re Raise me, all in, if you want? but I will' snap call'
  • misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,204
    Right, don't shoot the messenger.
11 run, each way four places, (enhanced, while it lasts, with BOG, back it skybet)
Runs tonight, in an egg n spoon race, 11 run, pays 4 places.
Reason for the bet, it's Value, its a value BET,not because 4 places, and or BOG, not because its 14s,add those elements together, then, add top yard, top pilot, that enough reasons for a bet?
Well, factor in the first time visor.. πŸ€”
    19.45 Kemton
    Racecard Number 2
Fresh Snow 10 points each way, best of 'run good' 14s BOG 4 places at 11.51 am.
    Only 10s elsewhere..

Chilling, sorry, just seen your question, about a certain horse (answer at the end)
Frozen Snow 10 ew, 2nd 14-1 running on, staying on strongly, hmm.

Very hopeful, of a right live one ( will be a price) this Saturday.

Not run since Feb (but 😏) one tune up flat run, this is 'proper fit now'

Not with a top trainer (trainer is brilliant, but not one of your obvious ones)

How far? do you think, it won its last hcap Hurdle, class 2 Ascot... 16 lengths....

Cheltenham perfect for a front running strong stayer, does not have to front run, but will be promenent, and zero worries that it will be going left handed.

Will name the horse, as soon as final Dec's and tissue prices available.
Probably enough clues above, to work out which Hoss, but.

    And for Chilling

The Sept 22nd Lingfield run, was the 'sighter'
Just watched the full race rerun, again, and, although that's racing, the jockey wanted to win, 'doing just enough' then, managed to Horlicks right up, a very well planned right old gamble.
Every single yard of the entire race, went perfectly, until the pilot decided not to ride it out properly, then panicked, sure you have seen the race, but, that's variance 😏
Anyways, hopefully, Saturday, got a right live plotted one.
  • misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,204
Here you go, not many (if any) dare putting up a bet, 2 days in advance.
personally, would not want to lay it, at all, but, everything has a price, if you make, set, do your own tissue prices, that's a way, to extract 'value'
Seen, three lots of tissue prices, thus far.
Anything, remotely like, 8-1,15-2,is screaming value.
    Runs, Chelters, Saturday, 14.05
Yes,I put this up on the level, (advised a strong bet)
    Hoss, is 'popping fit'
Last run, over hurdles, Ascot class 2,won 16 lengths.
Strong, strong stayer, ideal for Cheltenham, what ever the race distance, you want something that gets 2 furlongs more (that track, that hill)
Minimum price I want is 5-1 (not ever happening, but, if the Rick specialists go silly, like 10s,double the bet.
Win, lose, draw, the Hoss is a value BET, at 5s,hope 10s,snapping hands off for 8s or 15-2
    15 points each way a quarter 1-2
    NORDANO
    14.05 Cheltenham saturday
    2 days in advance!!!
That's the TimeForm tissue, and, Nordano lashing up, 16 lengths, last run over hurdles.

Yes, I am trying (will) make a point to some one πŸ˜πŸ€”πŸ’‹πŸ‘β€οΈπŸŽ„

    P. S,
anyone on here, with any, Any contacts, stable lass, stable lads, in fact anyone 'hands on'
On the Newmarket 'scene' give them a ring,..
    Pose this question,..
Name, the Hoss, in the last 3 years, in and around Newmarket racing village, ,that was considered, such a 'lunatic of an animal' no one, not one lad, lass, work jockey, wanted to go anywhere near it.

Tearaway of a Hoss, bolt and front run, and guess what, tissue, 5-4, 11-8,fav, for Saturdays race, which makes the perfect VALUE PROFILE, for a certain, fit fancied ubba strong stayer...
That's why, NORDANO, is stonking value on Saturday. β€οΈπŸ‘πŸ’‹
  • gpc70gpc70 Member Posts: 1,997
it may be fit and ready but the Ascot race was a farce run in a bog with an easy lead.
no way will it lead the jolly up early that's another lunatic, good luck but not for me.
  • misterpjmisterpj Member Posts: 3,204
Wan't the Jolly, to do the tear away tactics, which it will.
Sets up the race, for something that went in 16l,class 2, 2m4f,tuned up,proper fully fit n fancied (couldn't have it out the 1st 3 that flat run, but but but)
It's popping fit,the price available decides, bet or not.
    2s? Not a stolen penny
    10s,how much ew you lay?.
Its,fit, its fancied, its trying, with a race set up ideal.?
And,a short fav, with plenty, quirks.
Gpc, the going, Chelts, Sat, what you think? Good to firm πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜Šβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ˜‡πŸ˜‡πŸ€”πŸ€”πŸ€”
