My daughter got me a deck for vinyl for christmas with a case with all my albums from out the loft , i was very emotional , first album i put on was U2 War , not heard it for 40 years it really took me back , this track relevent today as it was back then, powerful , the parallels are uncanny The Refugee https://youtu.be/kdcvsZRij40
Great voice indeed. Eric Burdon. Famous for lots of things. Lead singer of the Animals, then (even though he is British) the USA's first mixed race funk band. Who Jimi Hendrix jammed with the day before his death. And yet sadly largely forgotten.

and a little bit electronic
edit; well thank you to the witch that made my customer disappear haha
Canny beat some shm to get you up and moving
i had those cold war kids on again, magic music!
and my buddy sent me a new one from future islands, those guys are phenomenal;
The first one is in my opinion the best track that these guys did. A forerunner of the greatness that was to become Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart
The lads at their rawest and some would argue their best, before mainstream softening somewhat diluted the sound.
And finally, did you own this? I did and still have the 7". Ahh the good old days.
most of the day was filled up with older tracks, heres the highlight
^such a cool vibe!
^that voice is just too good!
