I ended up coming first in the Satelite, 7 got a seat. So that was me in 2 tournies for 2quid! The other was the £1 deep stack.
Really happy with how i played in both. In the mini i was knocked out 170ish, with no head prizes.
I had 3.3k blinds were 1/200, i opened from early position with AK, opponent open shoved, i snapped him off he had 10 k.You know what's coming 10 on the flop lol
That left me with 3 bigs, 2 hands later shoved pocket 4s in a limped pot, called by 7s and out.
The deepstack went really well, was playing well, apart from 1 bad call where i hut 2 pair on the turn, the river gave 4 cards to a flush, opponent bet and i was going over the hand, and couldn't put him on a heart and made a bad call. I got a bit lucky, when i busted aces with my pocket 10s, hitting a straight on the river.
Then managed to double up again with pocket Aces, i bet big pre, guy that limp called every raise was not for folding. Rainbow flop K 7 2, i bet opponent open shoved. I call, opponent shows k8!! and aces hold.
Got really frustrating when we were all quite deep around the bubble. Every hand was getting limped by 3 players at the table, they did not fold to raises, and did not fold to continuation bets. Even when they missed the board completely they still called! Never seen anything like it before in my life playing poker.
I outlasted the bubble and was knocked out in 10th place, 100plus runners.
My exit hand, blind on blind, i open shoved Ace 2 was called by the bb with KJ, flop i hut my ace, opponent jack, river a jack. Despite the frustration late on in the 2nd tournie with the limp any 2/ call any raise, was a good night and i made a very small profit.
Batkins won ages ago lol In my defense i've only played about 6 games since the challenge started and have cashed 4 times lol
Just showed the hand to commiserate oppo hittin 1 of his 9 outs on the river to knock me out. If i win this, i'm right in there for top 5, another double up and i'm confident of going heads up. But that's mtts lol
Hi larson i aint gonna write a long peice on how to play mtts but i say this For me in the early stages i play reasonbly tight for first few levels as they say u cant win a mtt in first few levels but sure **** can be out i tend to play the top 20 ranked hands in early stages so u could say i play pretty tight i find being in position in pots is vital after a while on ya table u pick up stuff from ya opponents if they c-bet with top pair or check fold stuff like this Mid to late stages this is where i play very aggro alot of raising in unopen pots every chip is vital around 20 bigs is where i think i have an edge in mtts i think 1 thing i have learnt alot in the last year i used to 2 x later on in mtts when a min raise still gets the job done keep ya bets to the minimal still does the same job 2 x eearly stages min raise late stages on flop early stages i go around 3/4 pot bet but later stages half pot as c-bets Posted by IDONKCALLU

Yeah, that's pretty much what i've been doing the last number of games.
Previously, as many who know how i play will tell you, especially at cash, i like to get involved in a lot of pots and out play people. Sometimes i get to fancy lol Like you said it's ok against certain opponents, but with the low stake mtts, people generally don't like to fold and will call down very light.
I've tightened up a lot. It was Gaz who said to me every chip is important for when you double up.
The biggest thing i've worked on is getting more value/ making the right decisions and as Kalie said folding at the right times, you have to make the right folds to win a tournament.
I still need to work on the middle stages of torunies, increase aggressiveness at these stages. If i can do this, i think i would be quite a solid MTT player.
The bit you are best at, i am worst at, playing with 20 bigs lol

Orfie, opened with AJ it was 3 bet i called. Flop 773 i check raised other player. They call. Bet big on the turn and they call, river a blank, i gave up, they show up with AK, ace high takes it. Called a reraise and a turn bet with ace high lol That left me with 3k, pocket kings 2 hands later, same player raises, i 3 bet big with kings they call with 7s, flop wit 2 overs on it, i bet big they call. 7 on the turn i bet, they re raise i ship gg lol
In the deepstack tonight, sittin with the average stack, wake up with aces, i 3 bet, opponen ships i call. AK they hit King runner runner runner runner flush lol left with 80 chips! out 2 hands later QQ Versus AK.
In the totp game, open shoved AK over a raise, v pocket 10s, 10s hold. Cash of £20 and a good fun game.

I quite often put a fiver on at the weekend, especially if i'm going to the game, so gonna give this a go!
You need to put a fiver bet on at odds of 5/1 or better, if you lose (or win) you get a fiver free bet during the week.
My line for this week is 3 homes; Aberdeen, Inverness, and Nottingham Forrest, £5 bet on odds of just over 5/1
I at 60k oppo 20k, got it in good pre, and opponent got runner runner straight.
Then i ran Ace 8 suited into pocket queens left with a bowl, exit hand with 2 bigs 2-5 os.

I probably didn't play the best, i should have been a lot more aggro.
In saying that it was a good fun tournie, had another deeprun and made another FT, so can't really complain.
