Then we had the - to me - extraordinary "we MUST have sync breaks in Satellites" thread. Wow oh wow. I've spent a good deal of time in West & East Africa, in areas where there is no running water or sanitaton. None. Nothing, just a stinky fly-infested hole in the ground. So when a poker player tells me it is intolerable not to have a wee break every hour, it maybe catches me a bit wrong.   Of course, it would be nice if Sky Poker showed more consistency in these things, I don't argue with that at all. They deffo SHOULD be more consistent, & it annoys me a bit, but often there is a logical reason which is not immediately apparent to us. It was, in fairness, not an unreasonable question.   It does make me realise what a toasty life we all lead these days though. Well, those of us in "modern world" countries. Best not think about the others, eh?

Oops, I'm on the old high horse this morning, lol. OK, back to Poker.   Am playing a lot at the moment, it is a huge relaxation from me, away from all the constant moaning, aggro & stress.   And I'm smack in the middle of a monster downswing, lol. Will update the figures later, but I'll be surprised if I'm not at least £70 down after 150 games in November. They are BADDDDDD numbers. I've been Jod'd so much this week, it's awesome this variance thing. I'm getting it in good though, & downswings are part of this wonderful game we play, so I'll play through it, & enjoy the inevitable & eventual upswing that always follows. Eventually.   PS - I was 6 Tabling last night & got asked to discuss Sky Poker having a "Hand Replayer". Good question Sir, but when I'm on 6 Tables, do you really think I can do justice to a question like that? Yikes! See you a bit later, think I need to lie down for an hour. ;)

    Oops!

    Apols.

I wish it were November, I made about £140 I think.

December, so far, however, is a different matter.....

    Hi reeler.

    I play PLO8 DYM's mostly, £3.30, £5.50 & £11, 5 or 6 at a time, & I play most nights.

Great bunch of players there, & they are always welcoming & friendly to strangers or newbies.

Guess I'd better do the daily numbers for December, which wont exactly make exciting reading, but numbers have no credibility if thery are not shown in full, so 6 sets of numbers to follow.

    Look away now.

No idea how I swept all 3 @ £11 & still only made £2 overall, but I did awfully in the £3.30 games.

    The target in December is....

Make a profit overall, incl Reward Points.

    Earn 3,000 Reward Points. (£45).

I've calculated, allowing for nights I can't play, that I will have about 20 sessions, so I have to aim for 150 Reward Points every evening.

If work is not too busy & stressy, I can manage that, but I'll give it a go.

As it happens Ger, yes, it went very well yesterday. About time too, I was in a BIG hole. It's a smaller hole now though. ;)

Fair to say, I ran very well last night, including, crucially, winning 5 from 6 @ £11.

You looked to behaving a cracking night, too, I don't recall seeing you lose a single game.

Don't know if it was my imagination, but the games seemed a bit soft last night, very "Saturday Night" ish, with lots of "pot every hand every street" chancers. Love them lads. ;)

The £11 games are keeping me afloat, won 6 from 7, can't make any progress so far @ £3 & £5, but at least am in profit.

Bit cross I failed to hit the taget 150 Reward Points. The target is optimistic, & if I fall behind, I'll have no chance. I have no "spare" nights, I have 2 or 3 Shows to do for 861, a "Skype night" for 861 during UKOPS, & I'll be AWOL from Boxing Day until the New Year, the UKOPS Skype night for 861 excepted.

    We shall see.

The craic was great in the chat box last night. It deffo distrubs & lessens my focus, but I just can't help but want to be part of it.

There was a lot of un-necessary Crimble talk though. I've reported them all, it's provocative.

Crikey, where did THAT come from, lol.

Ran as bad as bad can be, but I'll spare you the details, nobody wants to read "sigh" posts.

Not sure I played too good, either, I have a feling that as the results went against me, I started trying to force it, which generally ends badly.

I lost 3 in a row, within minutes of each other, all to JACEON. None of them were great plays on my part. He''s a bit fast & wide, but he had it every time, fair play to him.

I also got Jod'd AIPF, by J-J-9-9 & 7-7-3-3. The spirit of Twiglet lives on.

Anyway, that's set the cat amongst the pigeons, now I have to repair the damage.

Pulled £5 back, but overall, to date, sometrhing is not right, the games won % at each level is way below what it should be.

    Need to buck up.

    Carnage!

All three Game Counts (£3, £5 & £11) are well below break even, too, 55% is the minimum required, & I generally trundle along around 57% or 58%.

Played bad, ran bad, hole got bigger.

Sent myself a memo. "Must do better".
