Another good session, & won 20 from 33 for the 2nd straight day, & won the game count at all 3 buy-in levels, & all the Month To Date KPI's improved, albeit not by much.

Finished the session strongly, winning 8 of the last 10, to round off a good weekend & repair most of the damage from last week's debacle.

Ran pretty good all session, & I think I managed to avoid too many mistakes.

The games felt quite tough last night, very little "value" around.

Back again tonight to see if I can keep this mini-recovery going.

    Ha!

I would be very surprised indeed if their range of KPI's & Data Analysis is more impressive than what SB&G already use.

You been on your travels again? Not seen you on here for a few days, or at the Tables.

it´s all a blur at the moment. not much time for anything.

you are probably quite correct re SB&G´s metrics. and you are also probably in a very small range of poker superstars that would refer to some better results as an improvement in their KPIs!

    (FYP slightly).

Guess it goes back to my business background, we did KPI's then, & they became natural to me.

Sky Poker, in fact all of SB&G, measure, literally, EVERYTHING, & they do so daily, weekly, monthly, 3 monthly, & annually.

As to me measuring my DYM progress via KPI's etc, I'm a bit OCD with numbers & stats. I know exactly who I have played most games against, & won or lost most money against.

Honestly, I think creating stats, KPI's & Targets helps my game a great deal, as I can critically self-examine my results  all the time.

What it does tell me is that I currently need to find a way to be more profitable, so I'm tweaking a few things, mainly "ranges".

My ultimate aim is to avoid losing money (just pride, & ego, really) & enjoy myself. Any profit is a bonus.

A year or so ago I had the dream that I could maybe win enough for a return air ticket to Vegas @ WSOP time 2015. Base on current rate of progress, I've ordered a rowing boat.

Was £40 up at one stage, but frittered it away with some dubious plays & some concentration lapses. Yikes!

End up making £2, which beats losing, but when I was £40 up, it kind of makes me think I threw it away.

To be fair, I ran vey good early doors, & was a tad fortunate to win the first 3 I played @ £11. Only to lose the next two. Ugh.

In one of the £11 ers I lost, I got the lot in pre with A-A-2-K DS v a newbie, it took ages to keep clicking "pot" but we got there. He turned over K-9-7-6, & flopped me dead with a straight, boo!

Amazing that even though I stopped regging @ 9pm, there were 5 games @ £11. Site is getting nice & busy now.

    Very enjoyable evening really.

No play for me tonight, I'm working, will be back playing tomorrow.

Have a great day. I do hope the Forum is a little less testing than yesterday, too......

    Hi M8,

    Have replied.

For those wondering what it is about, this player has been battling to withdraw money from a well known i-Poker skin for a very long time now, & he is being messed about terribly.

He made numerous deposits, did nothing wrong, but now he wants to withdraw, they are playing ducks & drakes as to "notarized documents", of which he has sent them at least four examples.

Won just shy of £11 last night, so not too bad, but finished very badly, lost 3 of the last 4, & still ended up winning 10 of the last 15, so that was a bit of a fail.

Battered the £3ers 8-1, lost by the odd one @ £5, & having established a 3-0 position @ £11, then lost the last two, yikes.

Need to sort these £5er ones out, am not doing as well in those as I should.

Amazing traffic for a Tuesday - played 15 @ £5.50 & £5 @ £11, which is unheard of really for a Champions League Tuesday, so I knocked up the 150 Reward Points in doiuble quick time.

Fun night, just a bit of a Billy Let-Down to end the session so badly, I was heading for a £40+ night.

Thankfully, have recovered all of those huge losses I incurred on two bad sessions last week.

Hope to see some of you guys later tonight.

I might do, if I can figure out how it all works, lol. There seem to be two different threads, with different contents, not sure why, but I'll have a look a bit later & try & join in alongside my DYM's.

I'll need to reduce the number of DYM's I play, as I generally run 6 at a time, & MTT's needs a different mindset to DYM's, but if I can sort out what's what, yes, I'll try & join in.

    Good stuff

The first thread was just to gauge reaction to the idea, and is now closed.
