Yes  ...  The art of effective speaking ..... why write a hole paragraph when it can be said in a sentence.

Hope you are well,  by the way.  Don't wish to invade your personal thread with my comments.  How is your P.S.A. under one I hope ?  Have you been offered Viagra yet.  I tried it but found it no help but was then offered "Lavitra" this is weekend type which suited me better.  Never going to be super stud, again, but had other benefits like better flow and feeling like it belonged to you again.  I have to ( while sitting ) do pull backs ... this helps with control. Took me couple years to feel things were better and get my confidence back.  gl keep posting on your thread nice to hear how your progressing. best wishes Don

Thank you for your advice.........  do you suffer from this problem....  were you asked to intervene.  I had already deleted my controversial posts from his thread as being... to much "information" it was pointed out to me that I was taking over his Thread.  I did mention that most men leave going to get check out, to late and this results in bad news.  Prostate problems need to be talked about and men need to be made aware the need for early diagnoses.  The detail mentioned here is regard my own experiences with Prostate Cancer and information he may find useful or has not considered.  I think  I'm better placed than most to say, how it is and not just tell him "Get Well Soon"  If my post has offended anyone then I will remove it,  but "Ostrich" comes to mind.

Thank you for your concern, my journey was different to " Tom " in that,  he had different treatment, but the overall Medical condition and options the same .... albeit ... that people react differently to treatment and recovery.  My posting on ( his ) thread was to reassure him that recovery takes time and it wont happen over night.  To stay positive and not get down in the dumps if things did'nt improve quickly.  Your body responds if your upbeat, cheerful and aids recovery quicker.   Some of his posts reflected negative vibes so I was trying to reassure him he will have better times ahead.  I only commented now because he came on this thread and asked a question.  I wish Tom the very best and I'm sure he will look back in years to come, and through his journey give advice to other's facing same condition.   gl Don

Hi Don, I appreciate your comments and do take them on board. I see where you are coming from in the fact that sometimes I feel a bit down.i do get a bit embaressed when certain " nitty gritty" things are mentioned,as being a man those are the things that hurt the most and putting it out there puts me in an awkward situation in as much that folk who read my little blog will feel different towards me. I just want to be treated as a normal bloke who is going a bit of a tough time at present and it helps me enormously when I get posts asking how I am and wishing me well, I answer as honestly as I can-including the times when I feel a bit down, I usually snap out of it with help from all my family and messages of support from the folk on here, some pm me and I am really grateful for that.
I wish you well, I guess in your own way you are trying to help and appreciate that.

Hi Al ........ Mick was in the Bar when Paddy arrived late.  "Where you been asked Mick"!   I had to get some Shopping from the Supermarket, said Paddy. Mick orders him a pint.   "Paddy is all smiles" what you smiling about, said Mick."?    "Well, said Paddy"   "I've not lost yet,  even at my age, all the Girls in the Supermarket were smiling and winking at me." !  "Yes said Mick, not surprised, your shirt's sticking out of you're flies."

Al,   I always advocate the easy option ..... Why you ask....   Well, it's near impossible to please everyone that comes into the Bar, but annoying them is a piece of cake. ?

A pint on the Bar for Geo (if he finds this place) ;)  & his team. Congrats on winning the APAT Team event. Pleasure to meet you Sir.

I have just had a  great w/end in Luton. Drinking with the Scotsquad and Hitsquad players till stupid o'clock both nights was prob not a good idea looking at our results....... but it was still fun, as always.

    Cheers.
