Do you think I should do a diary ? They seem to be very popular at the moment ...how big would my fan base be ? would they be interested in hearing about 28p dyms , trips to Aldi and antiques ? I could also chuck in the odd recipe .

You would definitely get one heckler.
If we could get statler and waldorf on board as well ....
Arise, Sir Nigel Farage................. for services to your Country. What!
If this lot below can get one for playing Cricket or singing songs.
I presume you do not follow cricket.
Only 5 of these are English, and they tended to get Knighted for other things rather than playing. Some are fairly obvious-for example, Ian Botham did a tremendous amount of charity work.
"Gubby" Allen was a fascinating man. As examples:-
1. He was the one bowler who refused to take part in the tactics employed in the "Bodyline" series 2. He was President/Treasurer of the MCC during the Basil D'Oliveira crisis, and his diplomatic skills helped greatly 3. We will never know what he did in a lot of his working life, as he worked in Military Intelligence for a lot of it
So, yes. Cricketers get knighted. But not just for being cricketers.
I like the I.P.L. rather than "Test Cricket" my attention span is my Monkey.
My Crazy 11 was me being frivolous .... cough!
Think the Honours List has become yearly give away with Beckham touting for one.
Every Sunday I get the " Order of the Bath "
1 really good thing about the Honours system is that it appears that people who carry out dodgy tax avoidance schemes are now being passed over for honours.
My former MP (Douglas Carswell-very decent guy, regardless of fact I don't share his beliefs) fell out with Mr Farage because he refused to promote Nigel for an honour.
