    And suddenly all the chips are in the middle.

    The Goose has 2-2, & Tim has A-8.

    The flopped A was enough to cook The Goose, & Tim is our SPT Manchester Champion.

    Time now for the presentation of the trophy, ceremonial photographs, handshakes galore & all that stuff.

    I'm rather tired, to put it mildly, as I have been in the cardroom since 11.30am, so that'll be me done for today, as I really do need sleep & food. (Kirsty has been here even longer).

    I'll wrap up the thread properly when I get home tomorrow.

    For now, thank you for railing, you helped make this SPT a success, you really did.

    I loved the updates n the thread guys great work.

    So glad that SPTs are back and glad everyone enjoyed the weekend,I couldn`t make this one had things on but will hopefully get to the next one :)

    Just wanted to say thanks to all at the Sky Poker team and Manchester 235 casino for an excellently organised event. I got AA in the first hand of the final table, but was subsequently card dead for the remaining time and in the end, when down to around 10bb, my KQ was no match for AQ. Shouldn't complain, lucked out on the river with AJ v Sky Kirsty's AK a few levels before (sorry Kirsty), so maybe laddered a few places higher than I deserved.

    Well done all players that cashed....especially to final table, never easy so top play.
     The Sky team done a great job , side prizes, helping players meet up , and keeping
     the SPT  tournament reputation at the top.
       The casino staff where a little overrun at times, but Doug the manager was more than willing
     to listen to feedback, and done a great job.

    Great weekend it's always fun meeting up with the usual suspects and sky team done a sterling job and The Man that is TK is a legend 235 Manchester was a fun place to play. I played with the best player on the planet I know this cos he told me several times lol. King Kong I bielive. And sky Adam was a joy to play with on the Friday even tho he tried it on with me a few times lol great weekend roll on next one looking at hotels now��������.       SPT is back with a bang

       Forgot to add highlight of weekend was last 2 hours fri night on Mr Channings table didn't get to tangle with him as was card dead for 6 levels but he was a joy to watch and listen to. Very funny dry witted fella

    Had a fantastic weekend.  Met up with some good friends and really enjoyed the tournament.

    The whole Sky team done a great job of making everyone feel welcome.  Roll on the next one.
