Alcohol seems to be taking its inevitable toll, & one or two are distinctly merry now. They all seem to be enjoying themselves though, & there's no bad blood or mardybums going off.
Pressed enter for new paragraph and it posted. Was going to add, GL for tomorrow. Don't let the whipper snappers push you around. Apparently the secret is to play it like a set, so RaRa tells me anyhow.
Thanks for the updates Tikay if you come across Andy aka SidV can you let me know how hes doing and any other TPTers if you find them, cheers Chris.
Hi Doyle,
If I see him - & more importantly recognize him (any clues as to what he looks like?) I'll get a chip count for you.
As to "other TPTers", I'm afraid I have no idea who is in which team. I saw Trip5, Giant, Geldy & Co yesterday, but I've no idea if they are TPT, TNT or TBA to be honest.
Thanks to all at Sky Poker and the Rendezvous for the great event yesterday, and good luck to all who are playing in Day 1b.
I busted early in Level 8, though I could have had the ignominy of being the first player eliminated after having my aces busted (even after making a set on the turn) within the first 10 minutes of sitting down. After that a combination of nitting up and getting round after round of terrible cards saw me not doing much for a while, but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience even after my exit hand when my pocket nines were always behind to Timmyrara's Aces.
Sorry I didn't get to meet more Sky stalwarts although I did manage a good chat with both Pompeynic and Geldy and was on a table with J3ono for a few hours.
Not sure about the photo of me on this thread though, that should come with a health warning!
A few assorted & random chip counts from yesterday follows shortly. Problem is, they are "real names" not Sky Poker aliases, & I'm not always able (or, in some cases allowed) to identify them with their Sky Poker aliases.
If you know the REAL NAMES of anyone who played yesterday, let me know & I can give you their chip counts.
As far as I can see from the lists I have been given, around 60 players survived yesterday - assuming the lists I have are complete. The following is NOT a complete list, just a random selection.

Been a good day.
The day's final level has started - 1,000-2,000/200.
"Seat open" is being heard with increasing frequency, just 68 remain now, and the average has shot up to 72,300.
"Last 6 hands" has been called, so play will end very shortly.
I'm a little tired, so I'll be on my bike very shortly.
Play starts at 2pm tomorrow, & before then I'll try & post a full list of chip counts from today.
Sam & Mark will start the Update tomorrow, as Kirsty, James & I are all playing. Briefly, in my case, one suspects.
So, for now, a very good night to you all.
Thanks for all the pictures and updates. Seems like another great event
More like 9 chips I'd say, and miniature ones at that.
To be fair, that apart, the venue have ticked every box.

He bust out yesterday in Level 6, but he double qualified so will be playing again today.

Is there going to be any announcement about the location of the next leg over the weekend?
