Apologies, I intended to reply at the time, but clean forgot, then when we shared a table yesterday it reminded me. You are such a Gent at the poker tables, too, taking defeat & bad beats like a proper grown-up.
I'm very grateful for your kind words.
The thread actually reminds me of Catch 22, so many ironies & paradoxes.
Best part of 7 pages & 150 replies now, all due to a chap who claimed something happened but was "mistaken", & then he comes along & destroys all the evidence, but does not have the decency to amend the libellous thread title. So I end up with hours & hours of negative work with not an ounce of productivity or use. The Office wasted time researching the facts to refute the "mistake" too. Every minute of it is wasted time, time we won't see again. And why did he start the thread? To (try to) embarrass Sky Poker, who provide the Freerolls he loves playing here. Marv.
If I were to suggest he was telling porkies he'd go see a solicitor, holler & hoot something shocking, but it's OK for him to malign Sky Poker without a shred of evidence. Bet he's never thought of that. Funny old game.
People forget, the internet is not written in pencil, once its out there its permanent, & search engines pick it up & propagate the stuff. It can never be erased.
There's a bright side though. I play a goodly amount of poker here, & the chat boxes have been full of comedic references to the thread. One chap suggested the RNG works better on a Laptop, another says it's always good on a Thursday, another suggested Sky Poker generally turn off his wifi if he wins too much. Love it.
There's a fella who played a lot of £5 & £10 DYM's who blames Sky Poker for everything, & generally prefaces a beat in a fiver game with "OMG, OMG", like his dog has just been run over or something. He called a 4 bet yesterday - a FOUR BET in a NLH DYM - with 5-6, & flopped 2 pair versus both Aces & Kings, but done the lot when the board paired the turn.
"Typical sky Poker, ripped me off again, wot a donk thinking his Aces were good there, I'm never gonna play another game here".
Within minutes, he was regging for more games, & he played 16 more games yesterday & is on site again this morning. Guess they don't realise how silly they look.
Anyway, let's move on & try & spend our time on positives.
Take care my friend, & have a lovely Sunday. Clear blue sky here in London, a truly beautiful day. I saw a Heron this morning, too. Happy days indeed.

As an angler I love seeing herons, my other half even rescued one once which only had one wing but trust me you didn't want to go anywhere near that bird without goggles on, it would try and stab your eyes out, even if you were feeding it! My friend also witnessed one taking a duckling from the water WHILST FLYING! The sort of acrobatics you'd expect from a bird of prey, not a heron.
The worst culprit for not sticking to it's cute and cuddly reputation is however the otter. A beautiful animal but an apex predator now. Many have been released, often illegally, and are now a huge threat to our freshwater fisheries. The non fishing public think it's an adorable creature, it's not. An otter on a lake is like a fox in a chicken coop, it will kill all the fish it can and when it is finished with the fish it will take all the waterbirds it can too. The lake becomes a ghost lake. The otter is a protected species and the only protection is to fence your water.
is it just me that doesn't like seeing that sort of stuff? (could well be!?)
I love animals & I know its nature, I dunno, just kinda uncomfortable to watch....
It's more common than you think, planet earth angered some people by showing these snakes chase after baby iguanas one of which was captured by a snake.
Predator prey type of hunting has a sad side whether an animal is killed or not, the predator itself has to rapidly kill animals for food or suffer a long and painful death from starvation itself.
It might be sad to see an animal or human kill 1 animal for food but that sadness is tiny in comparison game keepers trophy hunters and poachers that kill masses of animals leaving every single one of them to rot away.

Story checks out.
For balance, here's the naughty side of Herons.
This one caught the rabbit, dunked it in a pond & held it under to drown it, then swallowed it whole.
how do you know that?
Heron History please
Strike that, watch this instead - you see the whole grisly murder.
Pretty nasty, huh?

Sorry, end of rant.

Smh. No. Animals eat things. Tilt.
Quality vid otherwise though
