I actually felt that Mrs May was trying to do an impossible job over Brexit. However in the light of her No "No Deal". I really dont care about her or any of the self serving politicos.

Every politician it would seem only wants Brexit on their terms and May had the chance to make them all work together by going for the No deal option.

Oh and before all you Europhiles cry Armageddon do you honestly think the EU wants no deal, of course they dont .

No Deal was the only REAL exit deal. Anything else IS NOT Brexit . Its a subjugated betrayal of British Democracy and has set a very dangerous precedent for any future election, referendum, or ballot.

Once we were an Empire ruled by an Emperor
Then we were a Kingdom ruled by a King
    Now were a Country..........need I say more

The question was simple to leave or remain

    The result was clear

The response of the M.P. s and Lords has been nothing short of a lie. They are not working to deliver on the result of the referendum. they are working to destabilise, weaken and destroy the result by finding back door ways to maintain ties.

No person who voted to leave the EU should ever again vote in any election. Democracy in Britain it would seem is flexible and history is rife with examples of what happens when people no longer trust the ballot box.

    Rant over

Migration from outside EU hits high as Europe arrivals plunge

MIGRATION from outside the EU hit the highest level in nearly 15 years, as arrivals from the bloc saw a post-referendum plunge, figures reveal.
More than a quarter of a million more non-EU citizens came to the country than left in the year ending September 2018, the highest estimate since 2004 and nearly three times the government’s 100,000 target level.
Meanwhile, EU net migration almost halved year-on-year to 57,000.
Figures for the EU8 states — Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia — show 15,000 more people left Britain than arrived.
Madeleine Sumption, director of Oxford university’s migration observatory, said: ‘The overall story the data tell on EU migration is clear — Britain is not as attractive to EU migrants as it was.’
While outflow of EU nationals has jumped to an estimated 145,000 since the referendum, immigration of non-EU citizens increased over the past five years. The new figures show migration from Asia rose by around 40,000 to 185,000. Prime minister Theresa May’s spokesman said the increase — branded ‘a real concern’ by Migration Watch UK — was partly driven by the need for NHS staff.

    https://www.metro.news/migration-from-outside-eu-hits-high-as-europe-arrivals-plunge/1455560/

    Do these figures show,
That the Government is incapable of controlling immigration.

EU citizens are more reluctant to come to the UK, because of the welcome they expect to get.

Almost as many Great British citizens chose to go and live elsewhere, when comparing the numbers to our total net immigration.

Why would so many choose to do this?

What happened to Nigel Farages invasion of Romanians, and Bulgarians?

Surely we should have expected a mass exodus from Europe before Freedom of Movement ends?

But this goes above his pay grade. He is taking the blame for the incompetence of Ministers (and Civil Servants) above him.

To use the old joke at the BBC:-

    "There is a crisis.
    Assistant Heads must roll."
Grayling said on Monday that “not a penny of taxpayers’ money has gone, or will go, to Seaborne”, but was accused by Labour of misleading parliament by not including the cost of getting external consultation on the contract.
A report by the National Audit Office (NAO), released on Monday, found the DfT had spent “approximately £800,000” on external consultants for the ferry contract, hiring Slaughter & May, Deloitte and Mott MacDonald.
Deloitte’s assessment of the financial stability of the bidding firms, which gave them a numerical score for “robustness”, was not carried out on Seaborne.
“The standard tests could not be completed on Seaborne given a lack of existing financial information due to it only being incorporated in April 2017,” the NAO wrote. “Deloitte therefore did not make a formal assessment of Seaborne financial stability.”

    Deloitte declined to comment.
Mott Macdonald, which was charged with assessing the technical capacity of the bids, said the other two bidders – Brittany Ferries and DFDS – were prepared to provide additional capacity, but flagged “significant execution risks” related to Seaborne’s bid.
May told MPs today “there would have been a cost attached to this process, regardless of who the contracts were entered into with”.
Andy McDonald, the shadow transport secretary, said: “The Prime Minister’s claims about Seaborne Freight today are utterly risible. Not being able to undertake thorough checks doesn’t mean proper checks were done.”
“It’s clear that Theresa May’s judgement is on a par with that of her shambolic transport secretary,” he added.
Providing Brexit-related advice for the government has turned into a lucrative business, with Sky News reporting last month that £75m in contracts had been awarded to some of the world’s biggest consultancy firms.

'Brexit betrayal' march: Nigel Farage charging Leave protesters £50 to join him on walk to London

Leave supporters who want to join Nigel Farage’s march against Theresa May’s Brexit approach are being charged £50.
“Core marchers” – those who walk for two or more days – will have to make the one-off payment, which covers accommodation, dinner and breakfast.
Other supporters can join the event for free as cheerleaders but would have to fund their own accommodation if away from home overnight.
The £50 also pays for an official kit, including a coat, beanie hat, gloves, T-shirt and water bottle.
Former Ukip leader Mr Farage will lead the activists marching from Sunderland to London from 16 to 29 March.

Saturday's papers won't make comfortable reading for Transport Secretary Chris Grayling, after the scrapping of a controversial Brexit ferry deal forced the government into a £33m out-of-court settlement with Eurotunnel.
The Guardian says the "beleaguered" minister is under mounting pressure to resign after a series of failures in the job.
The Daily Express describes him as "embattled" and "hapless", while the Daily Mail gives him the unwanted nickname: "Failing Grayling".
But it also quotes allies of the transport secretary as insisting that it is unfair to single him out for blame as the ferry contract was awarded as a result of a decision by ministers across departments.

However, for the Times Mr Grayling's "incompetence has gone on too long". It says his gaffes stand out even in a government as "fractious and undistinguished as this one" - and he's a "liability to the public purse".
The Sun is a little more circumspect. The transport secretary, it says, is not alone in his "grim record of failure". But none of those responsible is any danger of being fired by a prime minister "barely clinging to office".

Labour bosses in furious row over antisemitism cases

Two of Labour's most senior figures have clashed over how to handle anti-Semitism within the party.
General secretary Jennie Formby accused deputy leader Tom Watson of "completely unacceptable" behaviour for asking complaints about anti-Semitism to be forwarded to him for monitoring.
She said his approach would "undermine" and "pollute" existing party processes.
Mr Watson stood by his request, saying "opacity and delay" by the party had led to "a complete loss of trust".
The Labour Party has been dealing with complaints of anti-Semitism over the last two years.
Mr Watson's original intervention came after nine MPs quit the Labour Party last month citing the party's failure to tackle anti-Semitism as one of the reasons.
Mr Watson emailed all Labour MPs and peers telling them he would be "logging and monitoring" complaints of anti-Semitic abuse and bullying.

    'No transparency'
Ms Formby then wrote to him, copying in all Labour parliamentarians.
She told him: "It is absolutely inappropriate for you to set up a vague parallel complaints monitoring system."
Ms Formby said that he and the party had "very strict responsibilities" to safeguard members' data under GPDR and data protection laws and asked for complaints not to be sent to Mr Watson "or any unauthorised individual".
She added: "Furthermore, you will undermine the work that my staff and I are doing and will confuse and pollute the existing formal process, compromising it and slowing it down."
Mr Watson responded: "The constant concern of those complaining about anti-Semitism in our party is that there is no transparency about the process.
"Too often those who have suffered anti-Semitic abuse have not heard anything about the outcome of their complaint.
"It is my responsibility as deputy leader of the Labour Party to ensure people have confidence in our complaints system and our ability to deal transparently with the scourge of anti-Semitism.
"I will continue to do everything I can to achieve that."

    Jewish members 'distressed'
It comes as members in Diane Abbott's Hackney North constituency issued a motion against MPs who "slander the party" by claiming it is "institutionally anti-Semitic".
Labour's Stella Creasy, who represents the neighbouring London constituency of Walthamstow, said the motion was "disgraceful" and called on Ms Formby to investigate the local party.
She tweeted: "what on earth is going on... that such a motion can be put forward?"
Sheffield Hallam members backed a similar motion and called for the reinstatement of MP Chris Williamson, who was suspended by the party last week for saying Labour had "given too much ground" in the face of criticism over anti-Semitism.
Brent councillor Neil Nerva, a member of the Jewish Labour Movement, says colleagues at the meeting in Hackney North say shadow home secretary Ms Abbott was present.
He said Jewish members were "distressed" that the MP did not comment on the motion being voted on, adding: "Now to me, that is becoming a bystander. I don't know whether Diane felt intimidated about standing up and saying what was being done."
Ms Abbott has not responded to questions about the meeting.
