This morning, in "Who won what?" I mentioned Jobby_Poo, who in fact was playing only his 6th ever Sky Poker MTT. Never previously heard of him, of course.
And lo and behold, Jobby_Poo is now on my table.
sounds a bit messy? but sh!t happens
Well it has certainly got messy now.
Mr Poo is somewhat loose (groan......) and I got involved in a very awkward pot with the random (playing 12k) Mr Poo (90k) and me 40k.
The small stack was sat between Mr Poo and me, and my hand was very easy to play against the shortie, who had opened to 2k, but not so much v Poo who had smoothed.
Anyway, I set the shortie in with my 10-10 and he folded, but Poo called.
Flop was 8-7-5 and soon it was all in and a call. He had A-8 so needed to improve, but there were no further dramas and that doubled me up to 80,000.
Hi Tony, Hope you are enjoying your second bullet, I have enjoyed catching up on the events of the day. A television star at the event, what else have I missed. I have a really early start tomorrow, the trains are going to be really busy , so could I once again ask you to vote for me in the betting competition, the longest odds available. No problems if you have other things going on. Good luck to all playing on day two.
The final level of the day has just begun, 1,200-2,400/2,400, and I have 50,000.
34 players remain.
This is the "carnage level", in which a third of the survivors are likely to depart before close of play.
It's very likely I will be all in at some stage. No point coming back tomorrow on fumes, and my current table is perfect, with a few lads - nice lads mind - 3 and 4 betting with air and then showing, so I might or might not get lucky if I move in.

Sid is next to me and cruising with about 80,000.
No news on Hendo, can't see him from my seat but will have a look in a bit.
Just lost another 12k or so to Sid after a brutal river.
50,000.
Blinds are 600/1,200.
Am having a blast, to tell the truth.
Eamonn @cpfc_2010 is outo, no details yet.
