And, I have saved the best till last, the six turn river runner runner hands, from last Sat and Sun..that 'rinsed me' Oh, and p.s, when does playing the best Poker , get paid off ? 2021 ? xxx
I hope, but doubt, you’ll take this in the right spirit.
I’m ok at poker. Ok, not great.
I can beat low levels but struggle higher up. I don’t really have the time to study and try and improve and so i stick to what i’m good at, low levels.
I think you need to be honest about your poker too
You aren’t very good at poker. You’re not losing because you’re unlucky. You’re losing because you’re not very good.
I believe that you do actually enjoy the game. So don’t give up. But listen to the advice you’ve been given by people and look at the some training sites. Post hands where you had a decision to make in the clinic Post in the right spirit and plenty of people will be more than happy to give advice. People like Feelgroggy and MattBates could charge plenty for the help they give in the clinic Feel grateful to them and listen to what they say
Do those things and hopefully you can become a player who not just enjoys the game bit one who makes money from it too
In the sub-section of hands you have sent there is no denying you have ran bad. However If I was cherry-picking my hands to show how bad I run I would be able to show pages upon pages of opponent's hitting constant 1 and 2 outers vs me. Not because I run particularly bad, just because I've played enough hands that this is inevitable. In many of the hands you have shared you have 40-50% equity, even 10-20% in some. Some of the hands are really poorly played and you seem to think you deserve to win much more frequently than your hand's equity dictates.
In many of the hands you have sent you are 3-10x your starting stack, yet there is no mention of how you attained those chips. I can say with 100% certainty that it will be a mix of coolering people, winning all ins with 40-60% equity and even getting lucky from very far behind. It is easier for you to focus relentlessly on hands you've lost because it's easier for you to admit you have horrible luck than to admit you are simply not very good.
Try and keep an open mind and be objective for a minute. You are, I presume, to be a slightly losing/ breakeven player, maybe slightly winning if you play the lowest of stakes. Many talented players, all whom are better at poker than you are and have the results to back that up, have offered advice to you. Some of them are up tens of thousands, others are up in the hundreds of thousands. All of them are telling you similar things. Do you think it is likely that you, @misterpj , a breakeven recreational player, is in the one in right whilst 6-12 winning player's who have told you contrary are wrong? If you want to maintain that level of arrogance and delusion that is entirely your choice.
This will be my last post to you. Good luck figuring it out. And if you insist on posting hands on the forum, at least post some 1 and 2 outers on the river and not this load of dross.
I cant win on Sky its appears corrupt i can nearly always predict the next card when in showdown Bad beats galore same players win all the time supposed to be random rubbish
What is it about having a rant about Sky Poker that causes the author to forget everything they ever learned regarding punctuation ?
Seriously guys try the occasional full stop or comma.
How do you predict the next card in a showdown. At showdown there are no more cards and no more action.
If I knew what cards were going to come I'd be sipping Dom, whilst a lackey typed this for me in my huge villa in Monte Carlo or Maccau.
He happened to have 610, he could have had 10J, he could have had pockets turned to trips by any one of 5 other cards...so I don't know how to play this game yet and am (like you) not a very good player but THAT's what I would be thinking before I called his shove....BUT if I had called hoping my two top pairs were good, I would be saying fair play...you got me! It's not like he rivered you from nowhere...get a grip, man
In fact I think I can still hear Crucibles chuckling from your call...don't get me wrong I call these situations as well..I just don't moan about it....it wasn't a bad beat, he played it (and you) perfectly

It's The Poker Soap Opera, that, just keeps on GIVING
highlights, from a HILARIOUS Saturday session, here on Good Ole Straighter than Straight, Skypoker, it is, 'just' Variance, ! although, ? perhaps, a bit of WD40 sprayed on the old GRC (thats) generated randomally 'cards' this is hilarious stuff..WORLD CLASS POKER, getting, rinsed, funny that, init !
I suggest, pay particular attention,to hands two,and three, happened to be, a £5.50 buy in, unbeknown to me, A Phenom player present !, Wouldnt be 'easy' , to be + 80 rated, and a great big Silver spinning Star..if 'we all' ran, like this ! hilarious stuff.

p.s if I ran, as 'good' as ''some players'' be 100 rated
2. You’re not in this hand, but it’s the only one that looks standard
3. Double pot donk shove with weak top pair
I agree with you that it’s not pretty.
