Lets get this back to chat about DYMs please.

So @Essexphil you have won the package, do you think you can double your £12k over the year?

    Ok

    It’s the bubble

We have 2k and the others are evenly split on around 3300 each
    Blinds are 200/400
It folds to us in the sb
    Are we shoving 72?

C'mon man, basic error, what are the blind levels?

What size is the BB, and how aggressive is he?
    Current answer is-sometimes.

Always hoping to double up or steal, but marginal here

For arguments sake we’ll say that all players left are competent

    I'm folding.
But I probably play too tight in these...

    That’s interesting
For me their competency makes me more inclined to shove

    I think I fold, but I'm rubbish.

Don’t think we’re desperate enough to throw 72, would prefer a hand like 65 or T7

    Agreed.
It was risk of being called coupled with fact that still in last even if we get a fold...

How do you do your notes?
I was chatting to Mayhem the other day and he was saying how a player had moved from red to green.
I think most people use colour codes. Is there a general code? or do people just use their own colour scheme to note players?

I’ve never done that although it’s probably the best way to do it.
I always try to make a note on players i haven’t seen before and then a note to check it as i see more of them.
Regs i never note these days as i already know their playing style and it’s a small player pool at dyms

I do keep some old notes for my amusement
Ones where i have got it particularly wrong. There’s a huge winner at mtts who my first note is not very complimentary about.

Well, I was going to post about playing for 3 hours and not winning one hand and losing £130

But then I played some cash and won 3 hands and ended up £5 down on the night so alls good 😊

    .....

    Watched Derby earlier.
    We’re absolutely dire.
Hope we don’t panic and sack the manager. Not his fault. He has rubbish players.
Lampard was fantastic for us and it’s easy to think that Cocu must be awful.
But he’s lost our 4 best players from last season in Mount, Wilson, Tomori and Keogh.
The loans that have come in have been really poor. Not sure they were Cocus choices.

    Dowell from Everton is abysmal
Paterson from Bristol City is no better than anything we already had
Clarke from Brighton started well but then lost his confidence.

We’re playing Hamer, also on loan, now as Roos has been horrific and he’s okayish.

Don’t understand why we loaned Carson to Man City from anyone’s side.
He had a couple of bad games for us but overall had been tremendous.
He’ll never play for City so why not just have a young keeper on the bench for league cup games etc when Ederson is rested and Bravo plays.

But most of all why would a player who still has a few years left in him going to City knowing full well that they won’t play football this season?
He must be very well off already. Surely he must want to play football?

I go with comments in notes rather than using colours. Generally I have a good memory for players but do have some players I recognise and struggle to remember what they are like.

The best notes are where there is some kind of date with the note so you can work out how current it is. Reality I think is most players have pretty bad notes.
