    Morning

I haven’t played a lot recently so thought I’d put in some proper volume last night

Played 3 mtts and ran deepish, considering field sizes, but just missed the money spots in all of them

In Dyms I just had one of those nights. Ran very badly and made a few mistakes too
Was in for £300 including games running at one point but recovered most of it.
In fact when I had my last 2 £22 Dyms running on the bubble a win in both would have given me a £30 profit on the night
Aces, when K3 shoved pre seemed a good spot. Until the flop that was and then I bust the other game too

It could have been worse. I won the £33s I played and also the one £55
Haven’t played a £55 for a while but Timmy and Monty were regged so I saw value.
Those two chatbox warriors told me off for my playing it and suggested bad bankroll management!
I suggested that it’s surely unwise to taunt the table whale 😉

Did play some cash and made £56 at that which helped

    No poker today
I’m going to watch the end of the 2nd series of Line of Duty. Not sure why but I’ve never seen it before. Thought the first series was decent

    Edit
Just noticed that I did cash in the little megastack. A hefty £7

    Mtts are rubbish

    Fortunately Dyms are ok

Made about £100 at them last night so that helps

I’ve upped the buy ins again now and am playing a lot of £22s so the swings will be greater

    ...
Email from the golf club made me happy last night
I’ll be teeing off again from Wednesday

Giving golf a miss this evening
It’s a bit cold and windy see. Dedication similar to my poker volume

But i am playing tomorrow and Sunday

Had a bash at dyms again last night. Sod mtts. They’re just rubbish and rigged.
Made £19 in the first 90 mins session and then a further £56 in 50 minutes later on
With 22s running regularly again i’m toying with the idea of pushing for priority. Points add up a lot quicker when the higher stakes games run

On the last series of Line of Duty now
It’s rubbish but good rubbish as my Dad used to say

    Exhausted netflix for films now
    Watched a shocker last night

    Left behind*

Going for a wander in a bit and then might play a little poker later

*it wasn’t a biography on Tikays time in poker as a professional player

Now now, I saw it as my contribution to the poker economy.

Surprised you swerved the golf. What do you make of the new temporary rules for golfing during the virus?

Bunkers rakes will be removed and players will be expected to smooth the sand in bunkers as adeptly as possible with their clubs. The flagsticks shall remain in, with signs on them saying they should not be touched. Lining should be put in golf holes to ensure the ball does not fall to the bottom of the cup.

What about social distancing? How does your caddy hand you your clubs?

Also can you only play with members of your own household as per all other outdoor activities?

I think courses are adopting their own variations on the rules
We can take free drops out of bunkers for now

The rule changed a while ago on leaving the flagstick in if you wish when you putt so it’s really, as you were
I personally prefer to remove it but it’s not a biggy.

Golf probably lends itself to social distancing more than any other sport
I was surprised when my club informed us we can play in twoballs and your partner doesn’t have to be from the sane household.

    Freudian typo?

Was running crapp tonight early on and got in a slight hole as usual

£113 down on night with 3 left in play
Won all 3 and only lost £3 in the end 😊
With rakeback it was a winning night, just!

    ....
    Today is golf day
    Can’t wait

Played a bit over the weekend
Nothing thrilling but made about £110 including rakeback

Just read something Tikay wrote this morning about even if you breakeven then you’ve had a few hours entertainment for nothing
I have to be honest and say it’s just a bit of a chore for me. Sure, final tables of mtts are fun, although they’re a distant memory, but on the whole it’s just about trying to make a few bob for me
Just me or anyone else similar?

Played golf again yesterday and did have fun. Even hit the ball into the air on occasion

This made me smile this morning

I like nights like this at poker
Played for an hour and won £75 and switched off

    Played 9 Dyms
    1 £22
    4 £11s
    3 £5s
    1 £3

Only lost one and that was the £3 😊

Played a little cash at 30nl and after being down a bit I won a buy in off the table nutcase

    I ran very well
    ....
I’ve been playing a lot of small sessions recently and they’ve gone well. Suits me perfectly as I’d rather be doing other stuff.
    ...
Golf on Friday and Sunday this week
    ...
Really happy about something. I haven’t seen Harry in 2 months. Next month I’m off work for a week and so I’m going to isolate for 7 days and then have Harry over the weekend. Welled up a bit when I told him and he was really excited

    Enjoy it, it's the best.

Fantastic news on the Harry front. WP.

Dym run good will end soon no doubt but I’m enjoying it while it lasts
Played for just over an hour and made £91 tonight

Got an email saying the new car can now be delivered
It’s blue as that’s what Harry told me to get and it has WiFi
To a 6 year old these are the all important things :)

    Golf tomorrow
I’ve played quite well so far since restarting
Trouble is, it feels very mediocre, as the bloke I play with is a natural. He’s off 4 and never practices. 1st round back he shot 70. Arsse.

Made a quick £31 last night at Dyms

Tonight I’ve played for 4 hours and lost £11
Feels like the best result of the week 😊

Played really badly and ran grimly too
Made a couple of misclicks which didn’t help too.

    Mtts are totally toss
    Played 3
    A coupe of standard exits
    The £22 megastack was annoying
    JJ v 77 and 44 for a top 3 stack and a bounty

    River was a wankker.

Battled away and ended up even for the night on Dyms
Took 3 heads in £22 for money back so just lost the £11 from megatwat and the mini.

    ...
My back goes about once a year. Was walking back from petrol station with a latte this morning when I felt pain go right across the bottom of my back
It’s not as bad as normal and I’ve whacked a load of deepheat on it. It’s eased a lot now but that might be the hophouse.

Meant to be playing golf with brother in law tomorrow. I’m going. I’ll just have a nice walk instead if it’s no good. They do say golf is a good walk spoiled anyway,

    ....
Harry’s bottom tooth has come out. Apparently the tooth fairy pays out £2 now and £5 for front teeth!
I’m sure I got 20p when mine came out.
Annoyingly when they come out nowadays it tends to be that I have to pay out £600.

    Not fair
