I havent watched it yet. I will today. I recorded it yesterday. On the tv guide they billed it as series 1 episode 2. They are calling the next episode as series 2 episode 1. Last night I downloaded series 2 episode 1. They are the same episode. So yesterdays episode was series 1 episode 2, and series 2 episode 1, and they are still calling this Sundays episode series 2 episode 1.
I looked it up on the internet, and it would appear that the new series will comprise of 3 new episodes.

Just read another article which says there are 4 episodes. This is probably correct as the Sun article which says only 3 episodes quotes the date of the last episode as 15th May.
Grace on ITV1: How many episodes is series 2? Is Grace based on a book?
The Staircase Killer... and the most sensational twist of all: It was the documentary pivotal in securing the release of a novelist jailed for murdering his wife but it left out one astonishing fact - the filmmaker was his LOVER, writes TOM LEONARD
OM LEONARD: Back in November 2003, Michael Peterson was only a month into a life sentence for murdering his wife when he received a strange but cheering letter in prison. Its sender, a Frenchwoman living in Paris, insisted that she knew the best-selling American novelist better than anyone, outside his family - so much so that she was convinced Peterson was innocent. But Sophie Brunet wasn't one of those weird obsessives who wrote fan mail to convicted serial killers - instead, she was the editor of an acclaimed documentary series, The Staircase, about Peterson's intriguing case. Peterson had given her and her team extraordinary access as he sought to prove his innocence. And, at least on her, the strategy had clearly worked. Brunet, who watched some 600 hours of footage relating to Peterson's case, wrote: 'I saw you, I know you're innocent, it was a great injustice.' Pictured: The real couple (top left), stars Colin Firth and Toni Collette in The Staircase (bottom left) and the crime scene.
Binged the Lincoln Lawyer in 2 sessions. Whilst this was certainly enjoyable I found the meshing of too many books into the one series was a bit of a let down.
I saw elements of Lincoln Lawyer, Brass Verdict, Gods of Guilt and Fifth Witness all introduced into this which for those who know the chronology of the books and characters was really infuriating.
It also makes me wonder how a second series, if there is one, will be set.
As a stand alone I would give this a 7.5 but as a huge fan of Haller its a 6
C'mon Netflix you can do better.
Talking of which I binged THE QUEENS GAMBIT in one sitting last night and wow.
I only agreed to watch it because the wife said that if I didn't I could bin it after 1 episode and to be fair that 1st episode just about did enough to hold me but after that it was really enjoyable.
Do you need to understand chess to enjoy it? No not really but it does make an appreciation of the film even better.
I don't know whether this would be classed as a coming of age tale or an overcoming adversity story or even a why genius people often destroy themselves cautionary analogy.
Whatever it was emotional, funny, witty, provocative and enjoyable.

I watched The Lincoln Lawyer, and would watch another series. I am also up to date on Bosch Legacy. As there are only 6 Lincoln Lawyer books, I suppose they must intend to deviate from the books in future TV series. I havent watched The Queens Gambit, not being a big chess fan, but may do at some point.
Up to date on Bosch. It's starting to warm up nicely. It's very good, but I think it lacks some of the humour of the original series, and Maddie's scenes aren't quite working yet.
Not watched Lincoln Lawyer yet-never quite as keen as Bosch in relation to the books. Will watch soon.
Chess was the first hobby I took to-peaked at aged 11, when in the World Top 10 for age rankings. Gradually slid back, though captained University/County player for some years. Even so, doubt I will watch the Queen's Gambit.
