    Bosch Legacy.

Good-but lacked the humour of the original series. Still as good as anything else right now. Looks like it will be next year before Season 2 airs-bit of a spoiler that Maddie is in Season 2!

The Lincoln Lawyer was enjoyable-for me, better than the books.

Re-watching Criminal Minds from the start to try and fill the void.

    I havent watched Criminal Minds.
I thought Bosch Legacy was quite good, as was The Lincoln Lawyer.
Last day of my Starzplay trial, I went for Mr Mercedes yesterday, and will watch Gaslit today.
I think a free trial on some of these apps is worthwhile as in many cases they dont have enough content to warrant a full time subscription.

    Gaslit was entertaining.
The Watergate story, starring a barely recognisable Sean Penn, and Julia Roberts.

There are a ridiculous amount of these subscription channels. The majority are, quite simply, unsustainable in the medium term.

Netflix and Prime seem to rely on about 3 Headline new series. Less than not only BBC/ITV, but about the same as Alibi. And the rest is inferior to most freeview channels. The others have barely a weeks viewing of stuff that you cannot find elsewhere.

    This is true.
I would be struggling to find anything I wished to watch, after a week on Starzplay.
The same thing applied to my free trials on Acorn, and Britbox, although these trials lasted for a month.
Netflix was great when I first joined, as there was plenty to catch up on.
I now find it really disappointing, as there is so little amongst the new programmes that interests me at all.
They produce so much absolute sh1t.
I suppose this also applies to Prime, but maybe to a lesser extent, and the quality is much better than Netflix.
I also get additional benefits from Prime, so I am quite happy with that.
I suppose the smaller services are likely to be absorbed by bigger services in the long run.
HBO Max are unlikely to launch in the UK at least until their current agreement with Sky ends in 2024.

I think that one of the pitfalls on Netflix is that although they have a massive number of world wide subscribers, the world wide bit is a disadvantage.
Having to produce programmes for say the Indian market, may not have any appeal for say the UK, or American market, and vice versa, and many people cant be ar5ed with subtitles.

I knocked some stuff off my Sky the other day.
Netflix is the same price as HD.
I prefer to have Netflix, and cant really notice the difference between HD, and SD.
So as I knocked the HD off, I dont think I am paying for Netflix.
A bit stupid, but there you go.

All episodes of We Own This City are available, so that will be my days viewing.
That is at the end of PMQs.
