ITV’s new on-demand streaming service to launch with 9,000 hours of free content

New dramas due to premiere on the service include Cold War drama A Spy Among Friends starring Lewis and Guy Pearce, four-part thriller Without Sin starring McClure, and teenage drama Tell Me Everything.
At least one show will then launch on ITVX per week, including screenwriter Russell T Davies’s Nolly starring Helena Bonham Carter, drama series Litvinenko starring David Tennant and Mark Bonnar, and period drama The Confessions Of Frannie Langton.
The service will also be adding complete series of forthcoming ITV shows, including real-life drama Stonehouse starring Matthew Macfadyen and Keeley Hawes, and the new season of Unforgotten.
Good-but lacked the humour of the original series. Still as good as anything else right now. Looks like it will be next year before Season 2 airs-bit of a spoiler that Maddie is in Season 2!

I havent watched Criminal Minds. I thought Bosch Legacy was quite good, as was The Lincoln Lawyer. Last day of my Starzplay trial, I went for Mr Mercedes yesterday, and will watch Gaslit today. I think a free trial on some of these apps is worthwhile as in many cases they dont have enough content to warrant a full time subscription.
There are a ridiculous amount of these subscription channels. The majority are, quite simply, unsustainable in the medium term.
Netflix and Prime seem to rely on about 3 Headline new series. Less than not only BBC/ITV, but about the same as Alibi. And the rest is inferior to most freeview channels. The others have barely a weeks viewing of stuff that you cannot find elsewhere.

This is a bit messed up. I downloaded and watched the three episodes that were available yesterday. I got up this morning to find that all 6 episodes of series one were available. Although episode 6 disappeared, before I could download it. So I now have 5 of the 6 episodes of series one downloaded. Who knows when episode 6 will appear. Or when the 6 episodes of season 2 will be available.

Provisionally titled Murder in the Alps, the three-part series will look into the deaths that occurred in Chevaline on the 5th of September 2012.
