Yes, I'm really pleased with how this is all panning out so far. I didn't expect it to be going so well. The way I see it, especially with DYMs is, that as long as you stick within a strict BR management plan, you should be okay. It is easier said than done though, when a bad run of cards come and you get really, reeeeaaaallllyyyy frustrated. I've always failed with that aspect in the past - sorry, I sound like a recording of a parrot on a broken record, always mentioning that! But what I think helps a bit is the fact I am able to play 8+ tables at once. It can speed up the rate of progress when things are going well, and also, in theory, shorten (time-wise) any break-even/downswings.
As for a plan for how high I'd like to climb, obviously the highest possible. I don't think there is a poker player on the planet that would rather play lower than 1. their ability and 2. their bankroll allows. I did say in a previous post, that I would be quite content if I could maintain a BR capable of playing the £5s regularly. That would be high enough to essentially earn a rather nice chunk of pocket money. (even by just breaking even and getting cash/rake back). With that said, my ultimate goal would be to be able to play at a level where I could play any limit up to at least £100 or even those $215 buyins in the hope that one day win a 6 figure score.
I think a more shorter-term and realistic goal at the moment (at least on SkyPoker) would be to build my BR enough to play at least the £11s comfortably (maintaining well over 50 buyins at least). From my calculations, earning Priority Status where the rewards are quite handsome would be more achievable then. Hopefully the decent results can continue for the remainder of June, and then we can see what July brings.
Sorry, I sure can waffle when answering some simple questions. So I'll hush for now, but I am happy to answer anything else you may want to ask.
As for today's play, I have just come home from work to find my home internet down. So I have decided not to play by tethering my phone as I am unsure how stable that would be. I did play a short session early in the afternoon in which I will include with tomorrows update.
SUMMARY, THOUGHTS & RAMBLINGS I didn't update last night because my internet went down. Before work I only managed 13 (won 7) games - with some £3s added in. And tonight was a tough, tough grind. Seemed to run quite bad indeed - getting my chips in pretty good and getting sucked out a lot. And I know I said I wouldn't bother changing up solely for points, but the next milestone in points was at the back of my head. So I played quite a while (with some more £3s added) to try make it possible with my limited time tomorrow, hence why my numbers were quite high today.
I also min-cashed the Escalating Freeroll for £4.20
Turned out to be my first losing day in a while, and the 4th one in 35 so I really shouldn't feel too disheartened.
"Seemed to run quite bad indeed - getting my chips in pretty good and getting sucked out a lot."
Guilty as charged when my AJ knocked out your AK. Nevertheless, those are some very impressive results and if you keep getting it in good, they will continue. Good luck and maybe see you on the tables later.

Guilty as charged when my AJ knocked out your AK. Nevertheless, those are some very impressive results and if you keep getting it in good, they will continue. Good luck and maybe see you on the tables later.
Thanks for the kind words.
It's okay, you are forgiven. I hope you can do the same for some of the expletives that were probably muttered under my breath towards you at the time.
It's always nice seeing familiar forum names at the tables. Good luck at the tables... at least until next time we flip
SUMMARY, THOUGHTS & RAMBLINGS Today seemed to continue right where I left off from yesterday, and it seems like this is my first prolonged iffy stage of this challenge. Although in the grand scheme of things, it's not major or even much of a downswing at all, it is a 200 game breakeven-ish spell. And if I am to succeed long term, I need to learn how to deal and cope with these spells.
It's just rather frustrating and takes much of the enjoyment out of the game when it seems you are losing no matter what you do. You get a high pocket pair, Jacks, Queens or Kings, and you get called by higher or to a lower PP. Or you lose with AK/Q to Ax etc. And it's pretty much continuous throughout your session(s). I understand this is part of the game and I'm just using this as a sort of way to vent just a little, so just ignore this paragraph.
Tonight started again awfully, only winning 5 from my first 16 games, so it was an uphill battle from then. Somehow I almost pulled it all back, Winning 11 from next 16. So total catastrophe almost averted completely.
I also got knocked out the Escalating Freeroll by @loosecamel TT < AQ AIPF. I've not looked at the results, but when I do, I hope my chips helped him to at least cash something.
I also managed to break the 1500 point barrier for this week, so my cash reward tomorrow should help this poor spell a bit.
SUMMARY, THOUGHTS & RAMBLINGS I didn't play anything until late in the evening after I played the Rewards Freeroll, in which I did not cash.
My session (of 24) started as well as possible, winning the first 6. Then what do you know? My run outs continued as per the previous 2 days and ended up down slightly for the day. Overall I am up since yesterday though after my £23.19 rewards cash payment,
I may take a few days break from the DYMs as they are starting to frustrate me. And I really don't want to do anything I'll regret later.
My plan for the rest of the week is to get back my mojo, so to speak. When I have only an hour or 2 spare, and can only play DYMs I will move down a level or two and play those, so if my run-bad continues, my bankroll won't drop as much. But I think I'll concentrate more on MTTs to see how they pan out.
I'm not really familiar with Sky's schedule, so I'll have a look and see what I fancy. Don't think I'll play anything above the £3 level though. Maybe a £5 game or two, depending on what's on offer.
SUMMARY, THOUGHTS & RAMBLINGS As mentioned yesterday, I was planning on playing more MTTs today. I did. However, I did start to play my usual £5 DYMs as the first MTT was starting. I was planning on only playing 4 at a time on the side until more of the MTTs started. My run of cards continued from the last few days, so that idea only lasted until I played 9 then gave up the DYMs, and concentrated on the MTTs
I played a total of 11 MTTs, which for the most part were not great and quite disappointing. Hardly even getting any bounties. I did final table one, and almost final tabled another though, which almost was enough to profit for the day. The results of these can be viewed below.
Tomorrow I have a backshift, so it will only be DYMs if anything I play tomorrow.
I hope to get back to winning ways again soon. Poker is far more enjoyable when it is.
It would be unfair to not let you all know. I am not enjoying playing poker at the moment and after another bad session this afternoon, I decided to withdraw the majority of my BR (£250 odd). I left £100 in, but tilt-spewed it away.
So, I am going to take a break from playing and decide what I'll do when I return as I do like SkyPoker and hanging around on this friendly forum.

Have you set an upper limit in your mind or is it just a case of moving up until you are playing the nosebleeds.
