"Tobacco smoke" is a great example of how getting the definition right is everything.
In the 1980s "ASH" (Action on Smoking and Health) were producing studies showing "cigarette smoke" was extremely harmful to non-smokers. "FOREST" (a pro-smoking organisation) were also producing studies showing there was no risk to non-smokers from "tobacco smoke".
Both organisations spent quite some time decrying the other, saying they were talking nonsense and fiddling the results.
The outcome? Surprisingly, they were both right. ASH had been studying trail smoke-the smoke that comes from the cigarette itself. That is downright dangerous.
Whereas FOREST had been testing the smoke that comes out of smoker's mouths. That is not anywhere near as dangerous to non-smokers, as the smoker has absorbed (for want of a better word) almost all of the "toxic chemicals".

To be fair to Dr Chilling, he's far too busy rESeArChiNg to be playing poker.
Did most of it in the last quarter of 2020. It all goes back to men in China face planting,apparently due to heart attacks,other vids showing seizures . This is at the same time elderly folk on cruise ships were isolating in their cabins. Then after two weeks or more,they disembarked. Some went to hospital. Doesn’t exactly make any sense or add up. Maybe you can explain that,or ask Mr Whitty what was all that about .
When that was brought up in Parliament,it was shouted down. Regarding transmission or resulting disease,the most relevant question there has ever been.
I would really prefer to hear the hhyf science backed reason first.

There might be lots of people sick at the moment, but the latest Omicron variant is definitely nowhere near as deadly as previous variants, and may in fact just be a cold or normal yearly Flu, which are just different types of coronavirus I believe.
From memory 20,000 people per year died from the Flu etc, and it will be interesting to see how the figures stack up this Year. Maybe not as many people will die because there have been far more vaccinated.
Every few Years there is a really bad form of Flu, that regularly seems to start in the Far East...... 'Bird-Flu' ......SARS etc...... and COVID-19 might just be the one that actually did finally become a Pandemic, and kill far more of the World's population.
Maybe it was meant as a way of getting rid of the ever-increasing elderly and infirm population, by people in the Far East......who knows?

I had this variant or something very similar in 2018 yes that early and spent four days in bed six weeks to get better, so it failed to get me also and I'm no spring chicken. Nobody heard of covid then, until whistle blower Doctor alerted everyone. Did he die of covid or brolly trick...... Mm! makes you wonder, so for one, I welcome posts on here that challenge the norm. fwiw
