    ps, before anyone slaughters me, meant as a compliment.

    Today's Bets in full.
    MARIE PARADIS 1.5 points ew 3/1
    FORGE VALLEY LAD 1.75 points ew 3/1
    MR.MAC 1.5 points ew 16/1
    MIGRATION 1.5 points ew 11/1

    dont really want them all to win 'for me' more so for forum punters.
    One thing for sure, trying my brains out!
    Got these bet already
    English 1000 INSPIRAL & DISCOVERIES
    English 2000 SAGA
    French 2000 TUMBLER, (bubble might have burst?)
    that day I backed it at 7/2 sp was actually 6/5.
    This Gosden horse Security Code, do watch its only lifetime start/ run/win.
    Long odds against in running (not anywhere near wound up for its debut)
    I don't care was a class 5,what it showed last furlong, went past the Jam Stick doing cartwheels,to my eyes at least.
    Both jocked up intended runners 18th & 19th.
    Fingers crossed.
    Security in a turf class 5,its price be of extreme interest?
    The fact Gosdens entered it in The Dante (1m 2f May) keeps the dream alive!
    SAGA the Gosden colt.
    2000g market interesting, front two Applebys take a huge chunk of the market.
    Native Trail 6/4 & Coroebus 7/2,word is they cannot split em at home.
    Coroebus beat Saga 1 1/2 length
    SAGA 2nd that day, then impressive (very, over 7f Ascot)
    Ton left in the tank, got miler stamped all over it.
    Coroebus 7/2 second fav 2000g,SAGA in one place 50s
    Gosden ran ROARING LION second run lifetime at Kempton
    (what a horse that was) thats where SAGA runs Monday Kempton.
    wins impressive and 50s the 2000g be long gone.

    could simply write;
    first bet today
    16.52 Southwell class 6 hcap 7/2 with BOG a fifth 4 places 1.75 points ew
    TWENTY SHARES OF GREY, or..
    Only other bet today a 2 point win bet, first 2yo I back this season.
    Easter Sunday
    Scorchio Weather, maximum pleasure to be had.
    Always try, no doubt often fail, to give some sort of reason for a bet.
    Two Examples;
    1.potentially for Epsom on Tuesday.
    Of course I realise, potentially doing myself zero favours, because more than enough below to work out exactly which horse it is, I do realise that!
    The counter is,Tuesday 3 days time
    I don't make something a bet, sticking a pin in any tabloid red tops racing page!
    All a case of putting the clues together.So horse named below!
    Leave the unique quirks of the Epsom track aside for a moment.
    For example you have a 4yo,thats had just the 3 runs 2022 (nicely spaced out) since Jan 6th (seasonal debut) 3rd of 10, 3rd of 6, 3rd of 12.sps,9/2 5/1 8/1
    Then factor,those runs over 1m & 1m & 1m 2f with race readers comments, those 3 runs in order';
    Stayed on inside final furlong 3rd
    Ran on inside final furlong 3rd
    Kept on inside final furlong 3rd
    The jockey who rode it lto (first time he has ever ridden it) same jockey who is strong as an oxe,booked / jocked up as soon as the entries came out.
    1 mile 4 furlongs first time in its career
    up 2 furlongs having stayed on, kept on, ran on.
    Since the 7th April, yard had just 4 runners, in order;
    WON 15/2 up 25/1 WON 10/3 it would have been 3 winners from 4 runners if Arjad hadn't been bumped & clipped heels 2 out y'day, beat a neck & short head, so IN FORM YARD.
    could have kept this to myself, price dependent and had a maximum ew.
    Yes,Epsom, can make a horse unbalanced,hate the camber
    Alternative at 1 mile 4 furlongs summit that gets it distance first time,stayed on, ran on, kept on, potentially puts it all together, and clickety click.
    Yard W Knight
    Jockey Marco Ghiani
    Horse Year Of The Dragon
    Epsom Tuesday 15.30 1 mile 4 furlongs class 3.
    Will watch tissue prices, opening prices, price movement, tipping line Shysters.
    2.bet for today, stated before, follow this yard close
    (Royal Aviation 50/1 placed & 6/1 handicap blot winner)
    Nicolas George both good winners on here for me.
    Them two, yards last two winners, hoping go 3 for 3 today.
    Now then,whoever writes for the sporting life, you decide if their comment of 'unreliable type' is on the money, or a load of Horse Raddish?
    Last five runs;
    2nd of 9 at 14/1
    1st of 10 at 13/2
    5th of 8 at 6/5
    2nd of 12 at 7/2
    2nd of 13 at 6/1
    For a handicapper running at class 6 grade, joyous horse to own.
    In the words of Mr Jim Royale, unreliable type 'my azz'

    running was 176.76
    bet (big bet for me) 25 points
    return 3.15 points place double Rainbow & Mount
    lose 21.85 running 154.91.
    brief take on yesterday.
    Since early March, Gosdens yard ran 50, out of those 50,approx 30 were sub 5/1
    Strike rate way way below what thay yard historically does (only 5 winners) one of which was in Meydan.Two things from SAGA race.
    No way in 365 highdays & holidays SAGA fully tuned up
    (if I owned it, neither would I have wanted it to be)
    I gaurentee, watch this space, SAGA on turf over a mile be a tool.
    When I put it up at 5/4 in multi wrote will be odds on, sp 8/13.
    That Kempton race yday class 2 mile.
    Haggas horse Maljoom, remind 'you' of anything?
    Maljoom is a 3yo colt, hadn't seen a racecourse until March 27th
    (bolted up in a class 5)
    That race yesterday,front two in my mind top drawer.
    SAGA improve a chunk,Maljoom now 2 for 2 (class 5 & now class 2 over a mile) also improvement to come,had better race fitness,but plenty green.
    Now Mr Haggas got form for this.
    Who trains Baeed? correct, here is Baaeed lifetime runs, debut at 3 unbeaten.

    Monday April 26th (6 days time) is the 5 day confirmation stage and £30,000 supplementary entry for the English 2000 g.Late supplements for a classic should always have an eye kept on,should Mr Haggas advise a supplement to Sheik Ahmed Al Maktoum for Maljoom, that would be a large hint, as to how they rate the horse.Either way, Maljoom top top prospect.
    Epsom 15.30 famous old heritage handicap, Great Metropolitan.

    must make clear, Security Code is a Gosden horse, same as Saga, same as the 50 runners yard has had since early March.They are never 100% first time up,does not mean they can't win,this Security Code simply visually impressive (especially last half a furlong) only lifetime start.
    Win lose or draw, improve for today, of course hope it zips up.
