I will be 62 later this month. Spurs haven't won the League in my lifetime. So quite used to the ups and downs of following my team. Happy to take the ribbing. Particularly if it helps you both forget Arsenal haven't won the league for 20 years, and Stoke have 1 League Cup in 130-odd years of trying.
Because they are your teams. And you don't change just because they let you down. That's what being a fan is about.
The Chelsea game? Great start. Then we started playing worse due to injuries, and Cucurella stopped being Bambi on ice. All the fuss about our Defence-the Centre Midfield is just dismal. Poor passing, needless bookings, brainless tackles in the Area.
Painful watch? In its way. But still far better than the display v Bournemouth, which was just dire.
Shame for Big Ange. I like him far more than Maureen or Antonia. Hoped he was going to be the new Bill Nicholson. Whereas he is looking more like Ardiles. The Manager. Not the Player.
However bad Spurs can be at times, they are never going to be as bad as the Black and Whites were last year. Port Vale are never going to be that bad
What a fantastic game for a neutral to watch though, hats off to both teams for what was probably the best game of football I have watched in a very long time (Man U yes ). The speed of the football and passing throughout was a pure joy to watch.
Both defences though (include us), just wow - more basic mistakes that I would imagine a 90s Italian coach would have resigned and left after 15 mins

The new mural, which depicts a smiling Jover in an Arsenal jacket beside a corner quadrant, was spotted for the first time on Wednesday night ahead of the club’s Champions League clash with Monaco.
Arsenal have become set-piece kings over the past two seasons, scoring more goals from corners than any other team in Europe’s big five leagues.
