    Pretty easy to refine that further. In 2 steps:

    1. When are the fixtures? As examples, Spurs play 26/12 and 29/12 and Arsenal 27/12 and 1/1. Tempting for the former to enjoy Xmas, the latter New Year

    2. Where are the family of the player? If a player's wife and kids or wider family are in, say Holland, it's an easy commute. Whereas, if in, say, Brazil, need a bigger break than 4 days to make it worthwhile

    Funny you should mention that. Many years ago, when Man U used to be a top side, I was flying from Manchester Airport to celebrate Xmas somewhere hot (with plenty of alcohol availible). I saw Ruud van Nistelrooy walking through the terminal to catch a Dutch flight. He had been sent off a couple of days before in a match ;) . And yes, he was arrogant to the max.

    nervous about this one today with a new manager and new found optimism amongst the Southampton fans and franchise, a win today could spell a bad turn.

    This game is crucial at the very least West Ham need a point am proper nervous about this one and hoping West Ham can keep them down.
