I'm reliably informed that @chrisdonkb is bidding to become the first "Double" SPT winner in modern times, as he won the Mystery BH at Manchester 18 months or so ago.
In the days before they were SPT's & were called SPUKT's (yuk) there was a fella from Bridlington who won two, but his name escapes me for the moment.

Was it Daveyzz or something like that? Just caught up on the updates. Thank you.

I missed the hand (my set-up is not by the table & I don't have an assistant) but whilst I was typing up the 1st exit, seat 1 (Christian Watt) got it in with 7-7 v the A-Q of Seat 2 (Tom Foster), with a Q on the board sealing the deal.
So, sadly, we lose Christin Watt who, I gather, is a local from Greenock.

Meanwhile...
Seat 6 (GK) & Seat 7 (Alex Tong) go to war, GK has A-J on a A-high flop but Alex has the Queens & improves on the Turn.
Pot size was ~1,500,000
Level 11 has started, blinds now 20k-40k/40k, & average stack still 955,500.
100k per orbit, eek.
Tina @karlluke
Ahh yes, davidzz aka Dave Marley.
@chrisdonkb & GK play a big pot and after an 8 turns GK moves in, but Chris is not folding.....
And so we lose our first player.
9th place - GK £1,900
Always happens, wait ages for a bus & then two come along together...

@chrisdonkb is slowly turning the screw & increasing the pressure & looks to have about 2.8 milly now.
Seat 7 opens, Seat 8 3 bets & seat 9 jams.
Seat 7 quicky gets out of the way &, surprisingly, so does seat 8 who looked a bit pot stuck to me. (He had 9 BB behind).
Next hand Chris opens & Seat 8 (Callum Reid) jams his 347,00 all-in. Chris gives it a respectful & theatrical dwell before folding.
Chris on Chris Action
Seat 3 (Chris Riggens) needs to do something & makes his move with K-7 dd but Chris W wakes up with Jacks so it's a very easy call.
No sweat really, Chris W adds to his stack - north of 3 million & over 30% of the chips in play - & we are down to 6.
9th place - GK £1,900
8th place - Christian Watt £2,400
7th place - Chris Riggens £3,060
