10 minutes into the 2nd level of the day, and we appear to have lost NINE players already.

Bad for them, good for me...

@craigcu12 was down to dust but found A-3 on the button, so in they went.

Sadly for Craig, the SB had the Aces. We saw a deuce and a 4 on the board, but the glory card never arrived so we lost Craig.

He's gone back to his hotel for some sleep now apparently.

    Gareth Smith is doing nicely.

    Wineli could use a 2XUp.

Aaran Abell is in god nick, ditto Vertigo.

Mr Channing is sharing a table with James Gavaghan, blue on blue. Both seem to be doing just fine.

Down to 4 tables now, & Sky Poker exits galore, wineli, EBBERDON, chrisdonkb all made the walk of shame.

James Gavaghan seems to have doubled up, he's up to something like 330,000 now.

With blinds/antes at 2,500-5,000/5,000 Mr Channing moves all-in but there are no customers. Opposite him, James Gavaghan watches intently. Ish.

Next hand, a chap moves all-in for around 10 Bigs with A-K & James Gavaghan (J-J) calls.

An action flop, both players hit, but James hits it harder & we lose another, & James marches on.

James Gavaghan is having a hot spell & he's involved again, this time he has K-K & his opponent has 5-5.... The door card is the 5, but it's not that easy to beat a man running hot....

    First break of the day.
  • Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 168,789

Another table has broken, so I assume we are down to 27 players now.
  • Tikay10Tikay10 Member, Administrator, Moderator Posts: 168,789

And I'm reminded that 26 players will get paid, and so with 27 left, we are on the bubble. That's good news for almost everyone.

Play has resumed, & it appears that whilst breaking from 4 tables to 3, we lost another player, so the bubble has burst & everyone is in the money.

Min cash is £540, & I'll get the full payouts shortly.

James Gavaghan seems to have around 450,000 & must be chip leader, or nearly so.

    Edit - actually, nearer 500,000 than 450,000.
