Great job Tikay. That was a particularly nice SPT. I had 100% friendly tables, all fairly chatty and fun without anyone being at all annoying or miserable. Gurdeep was on my day two table and he won a huge pot when he had to make a grit your teeth call with 99 after the flop versus a man who may have confused 77 with AA. That gave him a huge stack which was virtually gone in an hour. He lost one of those pots where you are on your feet and someone has to say, "I think you're still in, you covered him" and he was left with maybe four bigs with 25 left. Did extremely well to build up and did it quite slowly really in a very patient way. Well played that man.

I had a terrible time with the cards, but yes, all the tables seemed to be in good heart, warm & chatty, with the sole exception of a raving conspiracy theorist, ugh.
As to the winner, his demeanour & judgement impressed me greatly. When "business" was being discussed it often gets a bit shouty, as you well know. The eventual winner dug his heels in, "it's £11,000 or we play on" sort of thing, but was not rude or aggressive about it, just firm & fair.

Seemed like a top bloke to me.
Your cards were like mine then I lost count of how many times I had 7-2 and 8-3.
Got stuck on a table full of locals when short stacked and they all knew how to punish the old guy with hardly any chips.
All in all though a very enjoyable day. Thank you Sky.

...and they are discussing business again.
Not just those two, but the rail are chipping in with suggestions too, with 6 or 7 all talking & making suggestions at once.
Only in poker....
Pre-flop, all-in & a call.
Big chip leader Gurdeep has 10-9, Dan has A-Q.
And we see a real sweaty Betty flop....
So Dan doubles up, & it's game on again.
And it's all over.
I've been updating non-stop since 1pm & somehow missed the final hand.
But I gather Dan had 4-4, while Gurdeep had A-Q.

I don't have that info, sorry. You could ask the Casino, they probably have it.
Sorry I can't be of more help.
Thanks.
