Two of the biggest stacks go to war, both have huge stacks, & Seat 5 (Pete Turner) jams the river with air, but Seat 3 (Gurdeep?) is having none of it & calls with his A top pair.
And just like that, Pete, who has been chippie or near chippie for a good while, has left the building.

Very next hand the other super-shortie moves in with 10-10 & gets looked up by Q-J.
A 10 appears on the flop, so in the space of two hands, both Shorties have doubled up.

Oh my goodness.....
Aaron Abell gets it in with 6-6 v Q-J & after the flop of dreams for his oppo he's just about drawing dead.
Just about.....
I think Q-J man was about 96.5% to win on that flop
9th place; James Gavaghan £1,500
8th place; David M £1,890
Then seat 6, Connor Lewis got very unlucky with A-10 when his opponent with (I think) K-9 flopped the straight.
9th place; James Gavaghan £1,500
8th place; David M £1,890
7th place Connor Lewis £2,400
What WOULD the "it's rigged" crew say if that 6-6 hand had been Online?
Seat 6 is - was - short-stacked again but he hits a 6 card straight with K-10 v 7-6 (AIP) to double up again.
There's definitely a trend here of shorties keep doubling.
I'm starting to sense a late night....
One of the shorties timidly suggests "shall we ICM it?" but gets very short shrift indeed.
Biggest pot of the day just went off....

Gurdeep (apologies if I'm spelling his name wrong) now has more than three milly, which is over half the chips in play.
