Chip leader Gurdeep bets small, Dave Burns gives it some thought & then jams all-in.

Gurdeep thinks about it for about 0.0013 of a second, flicks a chip in to signify "I call" & turns over Aces. Dave's 8-8 fails to improve & he's a goner.

And whilst I was typing that, we lost Aaron who was quite short again (10 BB?) & moved in with 6-6, but could not hold v A-J.

    6-6 giveth, & 6-6 taketh away.

It's a very lop-sided table, Gurdeep has roughly 75% of the chips (4.5 milly), Dan Knapp has around 1.3 milly, & Noveid Nasserri has maybe 4 BB.

But wait, Noveid jams his 10-9 & hits a dream flop to double up....

Well there's a thing, they are talking "business".....

...and they seem keen to do business but are arguing over the Trophy.

Gurdeep has 70% of the chips in play & wants £11,000, but he's being offered around £10,800.

He's playing hardball, "£11,000 or we play on".

All good-hearted, no bad blood, but they could not cut a deal.

Surely he's being very generous if he's willing to accept £11,000, with 70% of the chips?

I'd say so, yes, but many see it different.

Don Knapp is on fumes, Novied built up to nearly 2 milly, Gurdeep has the rest.

Novied (A-K) traps Gurdeep (A-J) pre-flop, Gurdeep jammed & Novied was waiting with his dominating A-K.

"JACK" shouts Gurdeep, to no avail, but instead he flops Broadway on the K-Q-10 flop.

    So we lose Novied.

The remaining 2 players are on break now.

Dan Knapp will return with, I think, about 4 BB.

EDIT - In fact, Dan Knapp has 10 BB. So ne 2XUp & it's game on again.....
