In Response to Re: SPUKT LOCATIONS FOR 2009/2010 : Hi Seager, that sounds really interesting. Whereabouts you thinking of opening one? David Posted by Grimstar30
hi david looking to open it in sittingbourne, just looking through all the options right now ie council license and gc license to see if they will let me, nut the closet casion/poker rooms are in margate and ramsgate which is quite a trek for me, where bouts are from?
In Response to Re: SPUKT LOCATIONS FOR 2009/2010 : Aspers - very good it was, too. Swansea Grosvenor is not really a mainstream Poker Venue, though Grosvenor Cardiff is. Posted by Tikay10

it must be great to be perfect like flashflush ,everybody has to start somewhere and you only gain experience by playing live regardless of the buy in.you need to chill out its not the end of the world if someway makes a mistake

The legs should be 1 in SE England, 1 in SW England, 1 in NE England, 1 in NW England, 1 in Wales, 1 in Scotland and the final in the midlands - DTD in Nottingham would fit the bill.
I don't recall a leg in NW England last time. With the huge population centres we have here (Liverpool, Manchester), there would be no problem filling a venue.

i was just flicking through the forums when i noticed that flashflush seemed to be suggesting that anybody with no live experience shouldnt play £50+ buy in tournaments.just because someone has no live experience that shouldnt bar them from playing any tournament they like.im sure that there must be first timers that play in the wsop and make mistakes.you only get live experience from playing live.i was just saying that if someone makes a mistake its not the end of the world and if told sure they wont make the same mistake again,

If only it were that easy.......
Let's await an announcement, then we can deal with the facts.

Thank you.
I know the Post to which you refer now - Page 1 of this Thread.
It was just a sensible note of caution, suggesting that, as most of those who played last year's SPUKT had never played Live before, that some tuition would be useful/helpful.
In fact, we had a little MasterClass at each SPUKT Venue before the Tourney commenced, to help solve this very problem.

Sorry if you took my comment the wrong way...
What i ment by this is if you stick to your bankroll management LIVE aswell as online then that means you would need to of set aside a MINIMUM of £500 ... therefore i very much doubt a newcomer has done that.
Im not saying newcomers shouldnt play them at all, but need to be approached with caution, and should gain some experience before playing (although there is short master calsses at the events

For the next tour can we please include Bristol again. The Gala is a very good poker venue with a large modern poker room. Bristol is a good location for everyone as it is on M4 and M5. Also i live there. Ed Posted by THESWISS
