We should have a SKUPT poker cruise!

I know Norman Pace's wife is into arranging this if I have my facts straight.

We could have this like as a once yearly event. A bit like Vegas, Super sat in, maybe a package costs around £1k?

    Just an idea!

Pardon me if this sounds rude or abrupt, I don't mean it that way, but the answer to your question is.....

    Yes!

For the moment, that's all I can say. ;)

A few little odds & ends have to be tied up first. ;)

Well we are being totally hypothetical here, but I would say.......

Would it be "just turn up"? No. Previous Sky Poker Live Events have all been "all seats sold" weeks in advance. I can't ever imagine a situation where seats are available on the day.

Qualification would be Online, via Sky Poker Satellites.

    All hypothetically, of course.

I really can't answer any more questions on this until an official announcement is made. I hate to see questions raised & left unanswered, it seems so rude, but if you guys could just be a little more patient, all will be revealed.

Lol, sorry, I don't mean to be.

I'm probably in trouble with the Suits already, for even discussing this, but if questions are asked, I think they deserve answers.

Weathers been nice this week though, eh?

There are taster sessions on the day! so dont worry :-0

Sky is very friendly both players and staff.. Sky are very aware some people havent played live (probably 30% of last yrs players hadnt)

There will be laods of advice on the net for ettiquette in live play if you want to read up before hand, but you will be fine. Hope to see you at an event...

For the next tour can we please include Bristol again. The Gala is a very good poker venue with a large modern poker room. Bristol is a good location for everyone as it is on M4 and M5. Also i live there. Ed

Remember Bristol is the future of poker. Please ensure Sky is there.

    Cheers Flashflush,

i hear they held one in Swansea last time so "if" it goes ahead and "if" its held there again i can always pop down before hand as my home town (and play BJ there often) for them to show me the ropes before hand.  Even if i dont qualify id still like to go down on the night and get drinks for all the peeps who have suffered bad beats to me for my loose and rather questionable calls when i was learning, got to start somewhere (",)  im loving the site.

*disclamer - the drinks offer only stands if SPUKT is held in Swansea, your middle name winklevanperryspot, there is a full moon and your wearing an white and red pokeodot shirt*

Tikay in the last years events were the tournaments all entered via satellites? or could you buy in directly through a sky poker account, just a question as I couldn't find any information from those events

hi guys the only way, last year, was to qualify online through the satelittes.
The only exception was the final where you could pay the£220 entry fee straight into, as i had to.
This was opened to allow off line players enter, which left a bit of a bitter taste in some of the regulars mouths, although the only way to get paid was to open an account with Sky.
Most of the final table, at that event, to my knowledge have never played here.
