    Great advise greg m8.

    Now, serious poker question!!!!!!

Playing in the APAT Scottish Championships, your on about 25k in chips (average is about 17k), blinds are 300/600 running ante 50, your on the button and look down to JJ, you raise to 1500 and get re-raised to 5500. You have folded after a raise to the same opponents re-raise 3 times previously. Opponent has you covered.

Dear Hoggers, Every time I enter my local KFC and make an order, the spotty youth behind the counter asks whether I want to 'go large?' The price of 'larging up' the meal seems quite reasonable compared to the initial outlay but I'm worried the extra calories will see my grow out of my 26"-waist jeans. Should I 'go large' and do you have a link to somewhere I can buy some dungarees just in case? Many thanks, Chompy

    Hi Ploppers

Hogg would, jam the lot in.

He thinks your at it, as you usually are:), and that he can pick up your raise, again.

Get your chips in, and then there are no more decisions. If he has you crushed so be it. Hopefully he calls with AQ AK and you win the flip. Or better still he has 99, 1010.

That was my thinking and i did put them all in.

He called with AK, eventually, Ace came first card on flop and boom thats me out. Was good experience though, was on the feature table, live streaming for about 5 hours!!!

If id won that race i'd have been sitting pretty in top 5 chipstacks. Hey-ho theres always another tourny just round the corner :)

    Unlucky Ploppers

You did exactly the right thing imo, put decision on your opponant. he is the lucky one who called with A high and hit.

Standard stuff, better luck next time. Hope you enjoyed it anyway.

    Can't be bothered to satellite?

I think this is the issue

Don't get me wrong, i hate satellites. They are like trying to pull each arm hair out individually, while watching paint dry, and then having to arrange each hair in order of length.

But, they are the way to fame and fortune! Just look at Chris Moneymaker in 2003. He became a millionaire for about 48 dollars!

So, my advice ploppers is to get the tweezers ready for a long session, and satellite in. Its the way to endless boredom but its also the way to millionz!

    Hi Greg....

I have a dilemma for you answer. On Wednesday I have to pick my lad up from school at 3.30pm which will be in the middle of the biggest England game for years, so, do I....

    A) Encourage him to get detention so I can pick him after the game?...
    B) Sweet talk one of the single/married mothers at his school to look after him till half time?....or
    C) Don't worry about missing the game because after Friday, I will not be missing much anyway?...

    WWHD?

    Regards,

    Alan

    Dear hoggyplop,

I recently started an agony uncle column in my local newspaper.

However, it has become more popular than i thought and is interfering with my pokertime.

I think i may have to call time on my second career, although i knw i will be letting down the readership.

    WHAT would hoggers do????

    Hi Alan

    Thank you for the question

I would have said option B, its a no brainer, but Ploppers has swayed me away from that

Option C is fairly likely considering how poor England have been so far.

But, the World Cup only comes around once every four years, so it can't be missed.

Option A is out of the question, because the teachers wont do detention that evening because of the game. They want to watch it too.

So i guess that leaves us with option D. Send him home in a taxi.

    expensive, but simple

The readers are your most important people.

Stick with it, until they get bored...which won't be long:)

Having lost in the first round of the Hu challenge to some geezer called Greghogg I find i am back in due to a lucky draw.

However I now find myself playing Hoggers mate Irishrover.

How can I beat him ??

I enter an MTT and find that I have one opponent who is "away".
    Should I steal his blinds?
Assuming that I do steal his blinds and he sits in after a bit saying "sorry, I was a bit busy at work" (which I read as code for "the boss has just left after catching me unawares") should I offer to equalise chip stacks before continuing?

    Dear Mrs Hogg,

A friend of mine that supports Arsenal wants a wager with me as to which of Spurs or Arsenal will progress further in next seasons Chumpions League. Now whilst, I know the obvious answer, the question is what size of wager / prob-bet to make??

    WWHD????
